Ok, i'm 4 weeks out from my show. I've been following Layne Nortons diet recomendations for the most part. I am mostly an endomorph, my question is have any other endomorphs used his carb loading recomendations (loading starting early the day of the show), and how did it work. I think this is what i'm going to do, I've never really noticed a big difference from carb loading and just wanted all of your opinions.

If it doesn't work for you then why? Some people don't like the way they feel. Some people use the wrong carbs. Some people just totally **** it up and say it didn't work. I don't know what layne's recommendations are (can you link to it) but what type of diet are you following now? What did your carb up look like? what type of diet were you following then?

be careful with carb load
i have seen many competitors spill over and look worse than they did before carb up
give it a try sometime before the actual show

my carb load recommendations are VERY conservative, he won't spill over. Worst case scenario he will look a bit flat

I've never had a competitor spill over, the biggest complaint about my protocol is they come in a bit flat... but I'd rather error on the side of caution and have a competitor shredded & a bit flat than bloated & full.

alright, thanks for the feedback everyone. Right now i'm at about 105 carbs per day. And that is from oats, and a half grapefruit for breakfast, and cottage cheese before bed. Refeed days are a bit different.
