how would you guys feel if criminals, the homeless and general worthless pieces of **** were used as prey in a deadly hunting game where you may take down human prey however you wish? it would definately save a lot of money and discourage these ****ty types of lifestyles and behaviors and i think it would be a great idea and generally good for our society. if you're not willing to consume the meat yourself, it could be donated to orphans and ****. so we solve a bunch of problems there, and also it would shut animal rights groups up at the same time. i think most of us (people in general) have wanted to kill someone at some point just to see what it feels like, so it also releases that urge. i can only see positive things coming from this. discuss.

I can see a lot of people having problems with this (people who'd rather pay for people to waste away in a prison) but personally I'd love it. Especially if you got the chance to get your revenge on someone who murdered a friend/family memeber...now that would be sweet.

Well, a lot of homeless people probably don't have a choice so I wouldn't just call them worthless. And I'm not sure how many people are killed by the death penalty each year, but I don't think it's that much.
There is an older movie with Jean Claude Van Damme (i think, might be Segal) where some guy took homeless people and let rich people hunt them.
Personally, I think this is a stupid idea. Cannabalism increases disease (think Fore tribe). And it's just not feasible.

Cannibalism does cause disease. It messes you up, sort of like how inbreeding can mess up your kids.
Mad Cow disease is caused when the prion proteins get messed up. This happens when their feed (food) includes the brains and bodyparts of other cows.
Say no to killing and eating humans...

wow, to even have the thought of eating another human being is sick. I have hated people, but have never wanted to take their life.

Ice-T was in a movie called "Surviving the Game" that had the same premise.

With the increased instances of prison overcrowding occuring I think less serious offenders should be given the option to serve in the military for a period of time (maybe 1/3 their sentence), after which time they would be released as free men/women. I think they would learn valuable lessons while serving our country, and they would really be earning their freedom as they would be allowing more of our boys to come home from places like Iraq and Afghanistan quicker.

It would be good for criminals who more than likely can't be rehabilitated in prison. Honestly, for me, I'd say use Rapists, Child Molestors and Murderers.
I can't agree with the homeless though. Some can't help it. Some could just be like you and me, but they lost their jobs due to outsourcing or just got laid off and they lost their homes.

Battle Royale had a similar emphasis...
Put a bunch of kids on an island and let them wipe each other out... just so to control the crazy amount of kids skipping classes and becoming juvenile deliquants.

to the guy who said give criminals the option of military service - that's a damn good idea. personally i think they should be forced to do it though, and it should be just as long as their sentence.
to the people talking about homeless people not being able to help it - sometimes they cant, but most of the time it's their own fault. if you're willing to have innocent people in the middle east "accidentally" killed for a greater purpose, then you shouldn't really care whether a few non-useless homeless people are killed or not either in my opinion.
what about teenage mothers? personally i think they should all be killed as well as their kids and anything they're pregnant with. the fact is that teenage mothers are all **** ups and dumb bitches. they'll never go anywhere and their kids grow up to be useless white trash as well. kill the kids to save them from their own ****ty existence.
but in general hunting humans would definately be entertaining. imagine it as a tv show "winner gets 1 million dollars!"... but then at the end someone comes up and shoots them point blank in the face hahaha.

make rules like no striking allowed. Hands behind back. Biting or or using your penis as a spear is only allowed. Using the nose as a weapon is also allowed. Farting . Faeces pick up with mouth and throw it and use as a blinding/toxic weapon.
but seriously they shouldnt be killed they should be made as slaves.

i agree, usually somebody that is "wothless" seems to help me out at the end, when all of my friends fail me.
Join the Marines. In case you haven't noticed we have a hot shooting war going on. You want to see what it's like to kill someone? EARN THE RIGHT!

Really I know better than to respond to garbage like this. But as 20+ year professional soldier that is currently serving in Afghanistan, here's an idea for you...why don't you enlist? This way you can hunt to your coward heart's delight...of course you'll find they'll hunt you too. You'll be on their terrain, surrounded by people that don't speak your language, and most of them are probably giving out your location to someone else. Are you good enough? Or are you all talk?

I don't really think his intent was really to put down the military. But I can see how you'd be offeneded. The guys we have now, including yourself, are great. But there was (is?) a shortage of new recruits. At first glance, I actually thought the idea was a pretty good one. It would allow some lesser criminals to get the training and rehabilitation they need. It would also help lessen the criminal population and stop wasting our money because at least they'd be doing something we need.
But after thinking about it, it's like you said, you guys are professionals. Forcing, or allowing voluntarily, criminals to join you would only mess things up. I doubt you'd want a dude convicted of armed robbery or assault backing you up when you needed it. Granted, not every criminal is not going to change for the better, but why risk it.

I think you missed my intent. I didn't take it as an affront to those of us who serve. We are without a doubt the most lethal Armed Force ever assembled on God's green earth. The professionalization (sp?) of the Armed Forces has taken years. And regardless of current manning levels, putting criminals in uniform involuntarily will only lessen and weaken the force.
The intent of the post was directed at his whole premise of hunting humans. Anyone can shoot an unarmed and untrained person. Happens every day throughout the world. My point was if that's what he wants to do he can enlist and put his life where his mouth is. See if he's still willing to shoot when others are shooting at him too. See how willing he is to take the point going through an area where people have been known to set up ambushes or sniper positions or IED's. I take my chosen profession very seriously...and I have to respect the enemy's ability to sometimes choose the time and place of an attack, to do otherwise puts me and my team's life in jeopardy.
But enough of this nonsense. I came to this forum to talk about the ever elusive Largemouth Bass.
