Can't say I've never seen snow, or even skis for that matter. Sounds cold.

I love skiing only problem is 2 knee surgeries and I can't do it anymore. But I first learned in Colorado and it was the best time of my life. Good workout and lots of hotties on the slopes. All in all a great sport.

love skiing!

at 14 i fell into a tree, dislocated my shoulder, tore my axuilary nerve and ruined any chances of an athletic career -

still hit the slopes aggressively!

whats up with this new recreation section? people wanted a sports section.

I love skiing! Does anybody here ever snowboard? I'm going to try it this weekend and I'm wondering if being a veteran skier would help me at all? Thanks.

Been skiing ever since I was 5. Usually stay in the Utah area because I have relatives there so I dont have to pay for a hotel room or a rental car or anything. Usually I stick to Snowbird, Alta, Solitude, and the Park City resorts.

I'm actually getting new skis and boots in a couple days, I'm heading to SLC for spring break to see relatives, friends and go skiing.

At Solitude, if you know the run that you take on the ridge of the mountain from one lift (forgot its name, the one that takes you up to Milk Run) to the top of Eagle Express where the main part of the resort is on the right and Honey Comb Canyon is on the left, me and my friends have dropped in on those (diamonds and doubles) while they were closed and it was the most fun ever. Actually, I think they are permanently closed... but still dropping on on that area is a blast (IF YOUVE GOT THE EXPERIENCE TO DO IT)

What I was talking about was the areas around Here Be Dragons, when its closed they have it roped off, thats when we would go... hella fun.

Its about time they made the lift that is called 'Honey Comb Return'... before you had to go cross country style for a while to get back to the lifts.

I don't go Solitude (only been to Brighton maybe 8 times) very often (but Honeycomb canyon is one of my favorite places), usually I'm at Alta or Snowbird or checkin out Park City. I learned to ski at solitude and thats where my family goes to ski whenever we go there, so me and my cousins and friends will go into Honeycomb canyon and **** around (like dropping into here be dragons when its closed, all of us have been skiing/snowboarding our whole lives and one of them is a medic/ski patrol guy so it aint nothin). When you ski from 8 in the morning till its dark for a whole month its not fun going to the same place every day.

If were going to go just to have fun then well goto Solitude, if were going to really rip **** up then well goto Alta or Snowbird

I've skied all my life. Mostly in Colorado. Vail, Beaver Creek, Telluride, Breckenridge, Snowmass, Copper, and Keystone. I've also skied in West Virginia. I'm typing this post from my room in Keystone. Would be a good trip, but I think I messed up my knee the other day. I went out today and my knee started giving out on me.

I snowboarded from like age 13-17. Tried my buddies skis one day and never snowboarded again. I love skiing. Crystal Mountain Washington is my place.

I've never been skiing. Sounds painful but fun. I hope I get the chance to someday. I did go ice skating once in Central Park. I was sore for like a week from falling so much! LOL!!!

I went skiing for the first time 1.5 weeks ago.

I'm currently hobbling around with a knee brace on and popping aleve like dinner mints due to a partial tear to the outside ligament in my right knee.

I had a blast - looking forward to going back next winter. :D

I've been 15 times so far this season, after a few years off. I'll probably double that before it's over. Been working a lot on my aerials recently; gotta nail down that 360 iron cross soon...
