Thanks for your reply, Danielle. I really like all types of music, probably the only thing I don't care for is hardcore rap. I'm going to check out your suggestions.

Hi Gemini-
I tend to listen to a lot of alternative. My current favorites are Hoobestank, the Foo Fighters, and Unwritten Law. If you really want to get pumped for heavy lifting, Tool and Korn are great.

depends on how open minded you are.. My lifting partner is a weirdo but I left my Mp player at home and tried his headset.. He was listening to a group called Slipknot (sp?) I got so hyped I thought someone had slipped 10 hydroxycut pills into my protein shake..lol.. and remind you I am a "brother" from Florida...lol

The Used and Pink, two of my faves to listen to at the gym. Also, Tool, Taproot, Mudvayne(for those brutal leg days), System of a Down, and sometimes to keep me going on my cardio days I'll put in Nick Carter's cd. :-D

Really been addicted to Eminem's new album. Favs off it are Cinderella Man, I Won't Back Down (with Pink) and Not Afraid. I listen to the edited versions since I don't care a whole lot for cursewords but Eminem is talented, nevertheless. I really like almost everything off this new album. His last one sucked.
Others:
Black Eyed Peas
FloRida
Cake
Lincoln Park
Muse - Uprising
Lady GaGa
Pink
White Rabbits - Percussion Gun
Citizen Cope
Cage the Elephant
I'm pretty strange when it comes to music. I like a lot of different genres, lol.

Sick Puppies- Odd One
Rob Zombie- Superbeast
Rise Against- The Good Left Undone
Rise Against- Prayer of the Refugee
Rise Against Savior
Paramore- Brick by Boring Brick
Method Man- Judgement Day
Lil' Kim- The Jump Off
Ice Cube- Pushin' Weight
Ice Cube- You Can Do it
Static-X- Push It
Powerman 5000- When Worlds Collide
Staind- Mudshovel
Filter- Hey Man Nice Shot
Limp Bizkit- Nookie

Those are some of my favs for lifting (doubles for road rage). A whole other playlist for cardio.

I'm pretty much down with Danielle's taste. The Used is really good to workout to, but so is Three Days Grace and Rise Against. I don't like hardcore rap either but I love to workout to Ludacris because it's upbeat and funny and anything that can make you smile while you workout is a big help. :)
