I am just wondering if there are any ways to tell if you have muscle imbalances; measuring different muscles and comparing the ratios, strength testing and comparing ratios, shape of different muscles, performance, etc.?

I think my calves are much weaker than my quads and that got me thinking to what else might not be in balance and how to best correct this?

Thanks.

The best way to tell if you have a muscular imbalance would be your posture. If you have good posture, I think you are doing pretty well and don't have too much to worry about.

However, if you do have poor posture. You should identify the posture "style" you have and then read what that means for you. The different improper posture styles indicate tight and weak spots in the body.

Overall, if you have good posture I don't think you have too much to worry about. Just let the mirror decide if you have any areas that need work.
