Assistance work

Incline presses 95 lbs. for 5, 3 reps 85 lbs. for 6 reps

Military Presses 70 lbs. for 4, 4 reps

Weighted Triceps Dips 95 lbs. for 5, 4, 4 reps

Didn't do floor presses because I had no spotter. Not a bad workout.

ME EXERCISE
I just got back from the gym where I tried to do Floor Presses as my Me exercise. To sum it up, my performance SUCKED! I tried doing 105 lbs. just for a warmup and even that felt heavy because I was fautigued so I said screw it and left. What am I gonna do guys? I'm so mad I didn't get that ME exercise in tonight? I probably shouldn't, but I'm gonna go to the gym tomorrow and max out on floor presses come hell or high water. Has anything like this happened to any of you before?

Hey man. The weights look nice. Was this your first time doing incline presses? I've never had that happen to me. Listen, I'm not too sure if you should go tomorrow. It may only do more harm than good. I know how you feel though. You feel doubtful and mad right? Ok look, how about trying it next week?

Yeah man don't sweat it too much. I'm on the last 3 weeks of my program and I may have cought the god damn whooping cough! I'm most likely gonna miss my thurs and firday workouts and who knows if I'll miss more. If I do I'm gonna add an extra week onto it to give me a fighting chance of getting a decent max day.

i worked out sick today, it sucked, couldnt do much, very discouraging, but all i think about is going in next week and putting all my intensity into it :)

If you feel like you don't want to workout today then you should definitely skip it until the next day or two days. The just means you're not mentally ready for it that day. Maybe your body is trying to tell you something. Wait a day or two and you should feel refreshed and ready to go. I am taking a week off training this week because I've been training hard for the last few months. Can't wait for next week.
