Does anyone own any of these? If so, do you think they were worth the money? Also, could you post some pictures of them?

Thank you

There are plenty of pictures of them on Ivanko's site, where they presumably look exactly the same as they would in someone's basement or workout room.

i do :) picked up these from next to nothing.

been used in a commercial gym for all sorts, deads, generally thrown around, even Olympic lifting (dropped from overhead) and they are in awesome condition for 4 years of commercial use. very tough plates but very expensive.

all the 25kg plates are accurate to within 50grams when i weighed them.

just under $300 i payed for the above, which is 250kg

if you look at this close up most still have there stickers on. greatest bargain I've ever got, i didn't really need them but couldn't pass the opportunity when my local gym was having a clear out.

if you've got the cash then you basically get an extremely premium plate for the money, but brand new they are massively expensive. handling them is so easy though and i bought this pile purely for deads as they are so easy to load. now all my old plates are redundant though as these are basically better for all the stuff i do.

35lb $118.00 shipping: 70lb (2 x 35): $90.87

I got a great price on my Urethane E-Z Lift? plates last year from Bill at Weightlifters Warehouse (http://www.wwfitness.com).
I am really happy with these plates and urethane was best choice for me over rubber or standard.

I looked a different crayola plates, but I just did not like the look and feel of the rubber plates(especially the crayola colored plates). I know it does not really matter, but I like hearing that clank when you slide on another plate. I like the look of the traditional grey plate. Having metal plates makes me feel like I am back in my high school gym. (except for I have nice new equiptment and my hands are not red from rust when I get done)

I have VTX plates, and even though the website they are linked to says they are not machined, they have very smooth insides, and all my plates are within the margin of error on my scale of being what they are suppose to be.

yea we have such a limited choice, for years I've been thinking about buying some of these brand new, but could never justify it cause at the end of the day weight is weight.

i doubt the UK situation will change anytime soon. most people are happy with standard run of the mill stuff, which is fair enough really but it would be nice to have more choice.

maybe we should set up a business? :D

nah they are even more expensive, plus their grip plates arent that good imo.

a pair of 45lbs rubber bumpers are $1050, not that great really :D i prefer ivanko as well.
