hey guys, im 5'11" 205lbs now, and want to make it up to 220-225 before cutting. whats the rule of thumb for number of grams of protein per lb of body weight? ive been eating around 200g/day, which puts me at 1g/lb body weight. but ive just read somewhere else that i should be getting 2g/lb body weight. which is correct? (i think its physically impossible for me to eat any more than im eating now). thanks for the input!

The exact is 1.35xbody weight. But yeah, 1 to 2 g per lb of weight.

Would it be better to eat more protein than that 1.35x bodyweight or try your best to stop there and get the rest in say carbs/fats? Because I am 130 pounds and getting 170-185g a day and don't want more. So going to try to add calories in carbs or fats for my bulk instead - or does it not matter and will taking them in protein do the same?
