My body is getting pretty lean and hard. My muscles are getting more dense and rounded... But no matter what I do, my upper thighs and bum dont seem to be cooperating. I'm eating right, i'm training them, and they're just so stubborn!! Argh! I'm so frusterated!! The other day my boyfriend noticed that my right quad is more defined than my left one, and I noticed that my left cheek is firmer and more defined that my right one. I'm so frusterated.

Maybe your leg routine needs a little tweak to shock the muscles?

Yes, I've been thinking about a new routine. Ive had this one for about 6 weeks. Back lunges, one legged smith squats, deep squats, butt blaster machine (which i just switched to the cable machine yesterday), romanian dead lifts, then the adductor machine. Sometimes i'll switch the smith machine squats with one legged leg presses. Any good tweaking ideas?

I agree...be patient. I hope you've been working out longer than 6 weeks because that's not enough time. Give it 6 mos or more then you can really start seeing changes. It takes years to get good results. Also make sure your form is perfect....it makes a huge difference in your results.

You might want to try one legged training exercises like one legged squats and increase the weight on the leg that's not as defined. My arms were like that REAL bad for a while hehe. I think it was because I played Tennis alot.

So, try that out. You can do one legged exercises on the machines too, it's actually easier to keep form on the machines :).

I wanna see some progress pics girl!!! :) You sound tough!

wherever you'd like to lose fat, add muscle, be more vascular, etc. the most will be the last and hardest to respond

Alrighty. As soon as I get my camera charged I will post some current pictures. I also have some before shots that will show my progress. And soon i'll have even better pics to show off! yay.

I think my smith machine is broken at my gym btw. The bar slants to one side and it's hard to keep the weight balanced across my shoulders. I think i'm just going to start doing other kinds of squats.

I have the same problem!! I'm beginning to think that my bum will never firm up! Ok, you just raised a question I have..... One of my thighs is 3/4" bigger than the other one. Should I work my bigger one more?

Which one feels stronger when you're training? For me, my right leg seems to be able to do all the reps properly and with good strength, my left one is the not so strong one. (my left quad is stronger than my right one, but my right glute is stronger than my left.. :X) So i try and build my right quad and left glute up more.

try more squats and lunges for stubborn fat, and some cardio would help alot too, make sure to cut out as much fat in your diet as possible.
