Again, I try to emphasize that steroids carry serious penalties and before anyone thinks about using them they need to really ponder whether they would consider their steroid use worth it if ultimately they were arrested. Then and only then does it pass the cost/benefit analysis, but do not fool yourself into thinking that you will not get caught. No one who engages in illegal activity believes they will ever get caught, that is why they commit the crime in the first place. Ask yourself, is it worth it if I get caught? I am dying to find out who he hires. (No RicK Collins, our prosecutors and judges are very biased towards local attorneys).

I have to agree. The short term benefits don't justify the long term ramifications of getting caught.
Still, another pathetic law in place under the governments notion to 'save the children'.

Claims he was taking it to get his wife pregnant and had nothing to do with bodybuilding. Said he did not get a prescription because it was too expensive to go to the doctor. Everyone if you learn one thing from me learn this: WHEN ARRESTED NEVER, EVER, NEVER, TALK TO THE POLICE OR GIVE A STATEMENT WITHOUT YOUR ATTORNEY PRESENT!!!!!

I agree, the notion of the government regulating a persons private conduct is an anathema to the idea of a free society. However, me thinking the law is stupid is not making the activity any less illegal.

Again, I will agree that calling a law stupid changes nothing. But I have just about given up much hope of this country making positive changes gearing toward more standing on constitutional law when I see it being trampled upon constantly.
Yes, we are still free in a relative sorta way (compared to many nations), but not in comparison to the idea that our forefathers had in mind when they founded this country.

I am sure we will be seeing more and more of these stories over the coming months, it is just the beginning. IMO unless one is a professional athlete with the opportunity to make ALOT of money, there is no cost/benefit analysis to it. Only COST. Cycle costs, the possiblity of legal costs, etc. Besides with sound training and smart supplementation, DEDICATION and TIME one can develop a very impressive physigue. The problem is people do not want to put in the time. Personally for me my goal now is to be "in shape" and maintain single digit bodyfat year round. And that is certainly something that can happen without the use of anabolics. I have no strong desire to be 240 with 21 in guns :)

Wow, this **** is still going on? I saw a news vid of another guy I know that just got busted recently as well :( I wonder how steroids compare in terms of $$ to recreation drugs on the streets?

there is very little money in steroids imo.. well compared to weed and cocaine
