depends of the show, a natural contest, well the one I did, I got three pretty trophies and thats it. No money for amatuer bodybuilders...the pro's thats a different story

I have heard of.....trophies, watches, rings, swords jackets etc..

I got tons of trophies from bodybuilding. It's a sign of self-determination and discipline. Some contest offer the overall winners swoards, rings, plaques, jackets, vases... I have't seen a ring yet, but I bet it would rock!

Worked my butt off 5 years ago and won but it just wasn't worth the extreme hardwork. Now I just lift and look great. Heck I'm a badarse!

Man I don't nkow how you could say that...lol, I love competing and definately think it's worth it...to each his own.

You get a sense of pride that no amount of money could give you. That's what I hope to get out of it anyway. I'm going to compete in the 2003 NPC Kentucky as a novice.
