After much contemplation I decided that I would post another log here. I was reluctant at first... because the truth is, I am embarassed. Some of you might remember me from a while back, well, I've gained quite a bit of weight since I was last here. (270lbs to 353lbs in 6 months). But that is in the past and I am trying to look only into the future. I have to thank some other people who motivated me to post here as well including cawiau
Basically, I am going to be doing a 26 week diet running from February 1st to August 1st, 2008. My diet is going to be a 2500 calorie keto diet and I plan to burn off an additional 1500 calories a day through 2 hours of exercise and weights. The elliptical will become my new best friend. I hope posting these bad pictures will motivate me and any advice anyone has, feel free to give it to me.
I've compiled several statistics including all my measurements and photos of myself. These prove how poor of shape I am in. My starting weight is 353.4lbs at 35.6% body fat and 43.1% water weight. The lean body mass combined with my height of 6'3 1/2" hides some of that weight but the side pictures show how massive my belly is. I have the worst kind of fat of all, abdominal fat.
I'm going to keep this thread pretty simple because every minute I spend on here I could be working out! :) ... Every Friday morning I will post results here along with the same set of photos showing my scale, poses and my updated measurements. I don't expect to see too many changes week by week in the measurements, but combined inches lost will definitely be motivating. I'll also post other crap as I go along... my diet is going to be really simple... 8 scoops of whey a day, 3 low carb high protein moderate fat wraps (chicken breast, veggies, cheese) each worth about 500 calories and 8 salmon oil pills. I'll also be taking an ECA stack twice a day.
My goals? To stick to it and lost some major weight! I want to get back to the 279lbs I was at before and regain back my dignity and self esteem and then go from there. My goal weight is 220lbs eventually, which I figure will take me longer than 26 weeks. It took me many years to get to where I am now and I can't expect to fix it right away, but this is a good start!
Thanks for listening, off to the elliptical.
And yes, I know my chest and back are hairy :D
