Could American Oly lifters learn anything from there Shot Putters?

I am just asking this because it seems like America Shot Putters are the best in the world?

This is just an observation I made as I have no idea how they train.

Maybe its just a cultural thing i.e. after the majority of genetic freakes have gone into the NFL the rest take up the Shot Putt?

throwing events are in the high schools and students have a lot more exposure to them at a key age

I'm a thrower.. I'm not really sure what we could possibly teach oly lifters though. Basically, we are powerlifter / oly lifter hybrids.

There is more money in T&F. Nobody really wants to address it, but that is the limiting aspect of USA weightlifting.
