Hey you guys, i am new on here and i was curious about something. Ive read a lot of the posts on here regarding proteins and suppliments but i still have questions.

My goal is to lose fat, tighten my body, and gain muscle. I dont know what my body fat percentage is but im sure that its pretty high. I just started getting serious about working out and changing my diet. If i am just beginning, should i start out using a whey protein? or do I need to wait until i have started losing the weight and then add it to my routine? I have the same question about the other suppliments...I dont want to start using a fat burner though(at least not anytime soon). Anyways, Thanks a lot you guys!

Add the whey protein right away!!!!!! You will progress so much faster if you use it right off the bat! You can start using any supplements at any time, it doesn't matter if you have already lost the weight you are planning to lose or not. Make sure to have whey protein right after you workout, and try to find a nice blend of proteins (protein powder) to have when you're in a squeeze at any other point in the day.

Protein powder is used to supplement your dietary protein intake. How many grams of protein are you shooting for, and how many grams do you derive from food?
