what i'm trying to say is that i would like some ideas of the type of workout routine that you are on...mainly for running backs/linebackers because thas more of the body-type that i have. am i making any sense? the only reason that i had mentioned the navy seal/marine is because i'm letting you kno' the type of body that i have. i'm in the air force, but i've been mistaken for these other military branches...
...thanx ya'll...

Okay I get ya... Sory but I dont really now any RB weight programs. I would imagine alot of compound movements and tons of lower body work. And lots of intense cardio and endurance work.

Speed work-sprints, pylos, etc. are key in football.
If you want to run the ball, you need excellent hands. If a guy averages 8 yards per but fumbles all the time he'll sit.
Get on the hip machine, do all four movements. Remember it's the little muscles in your leg that make you fast, not the big ones. But don't neglect those big muscles either, remember to squat low and hard. Other weight room excersizes that are great for football are deadlifts(particularily sumo style) cleans, snatches, push presses, etc.
But I would say speed work is #1.

dont you remember what you did in highschool, squats, power cleans, dead lifts, but i dont think thats gonna get you the "look" you want im guessing what you mean is being cut, cause if you look at a running back, well that by itself is very vague, k wll theres jerome bettis, there warrrick dunn, im guessing you mean warrick dunn. to sum it all up i guess running backs look like they work out... sooo there.
