I've been reading a ton of these threads, and I've come across several posts (at least) mentioning Post Workout shakes. They usually say to include both high and low GI carbs. Could someone give me some examples of High GI carbs and low GI carbs that are good to put into a post workout shake?

sugar? dextrose? oats?

Post workout, I'd go with a small amount of a high gi carb like dextrose or maltadextrin (waxy maize starch gets good reviews too) and whey. I'd only use something like oatmeal if I was doing TKD or had insulin problems.
