It's getting to be crunch time, and everything is dialing in just like it should, but I have a question. I know that it's a good idea to stop doing weight workouts the week before a show, but what about cardio?? Thanks!

No cardio, either. I think I stopped cardio the Sunday before a Saturday show and stopped all weights Wednesday. Hope this helps!

No cardio, but continue training until Tuesday or Wednesday. Use very light weight and train upper body only. Choose 2 different exercises per muscle group and use 2 sets with reps in the 20-25 range. The idea is to get all the glycogen out and prepare for carbing up.

I think you could get away with some light cardio up until you start carbing up. I'm talking about a light bike ride or some walking, nothing that really works the muscles. I've had good results going for a 45 minute walk my last night of carb depletion. I know I'm pretty depleted when I start getting light-headed. The next day I rode the bike for 20 minutes and posed for 20 minutes while wearing sweats and Lipoburn gel(Preparation H would probably work just as well) to push some water out before I started carbing up. I didn't drink any water that day, and put on a coat of Protan and a coat of Dreamtan that night. A few hours before prejudging, I laid out for 20 minutes and my vascularity really came out. Since I wasn't drinking water, I had to hold my head under cold water for 5 minutes to cool off though. Some of these guys were in the sun for hours that day, I don't know how they did it. Anyway, here's what I looked like after prejudging.

Thanks everyone! Now I think I've got everything in order and I know what I need to do to kick some serious butt! Then I'm sticking my face in a big fat tray of brownies.....
