Cortisol Suppressors and Anabolism

Is taking a cortisol-suppressor such as phosphatidylserine and HMB at one time counter-productive? I am asking because they both minimize protein breakdown, but through two entirely different mechanisms.

Cortisol inhibitors good...Omega 3 fish oil a very good one also...HMB pretty much considered a waste of money...HMB has been a huge flot for the supp industy i believe..
