My little one is really acting up lately, not so much with me but with my wife. Well we dont have any laws here if a mandatory evac is called for, unlike LA has recently placed. If you do stay you need to make sure you have all supplies needed. Im in a decent neighborhood so I wont have to worry about thugs / looters.

They dont know if you stay home. They just want to make sure you are safe and not causing trouble after the storm.

I agree with you. I would even question the mandatory evacs for me personally. However, if you talked to some of the clowns on the weather hunter websites, they are slap looney. They believe that every storm should be a complete evac of the lower half of the country, and they salivate at the thought of a storm hitting people.

They refer to a storm strengthening as "good" or "favorable." The weather underground blogs are probably the worst for that, but there are other sites like that.
