During a football game my sophomore year of high school, I was hit from the side and my left arm swung up and it felt as if I tore something in my shoulder. We were playing our cross town rivals so I did everything to stay in the game.
I remember it hurt for a few days but nothing too bad.
I played 2 sports a year for the rest of my high school career not worrying about it.
The only thing is, I cant lift weights vertically. I can't do any sort of military press with a barbell or dumbbell without my left shoulder giving out in pain. What could be wrong with it? What kind of doctor do I need to go see for it? It doesn't affect my everyday life except when I lift and it annoys me that I can't finish up my shoulder workouts because of it.
