Affordable bench + squat stand?

Hi i'm looking for a bench + squat stand combo,
is it possible to use bench stand for squats?
I live in syd australia, and was wondering if there were any stores around that could help me.
Is that all i need?
BTW im 15 yrs old and just hoping to start free weights

It's certainly good to see a young man moving in the right direction (free weights).

I'm not really familiar with Australia, only having been there for a short spell in the late 80's during a port call (a very positive experience), so someone else will have to cue you in to the best local retail outlets in the Sydney area.

I suppose one good question (seeing as it has been over 20 years since I was 15) is what you consider to be affordable, as in how much money for a bench and squat rack?

i dunno how much a squat rack costs, but 200AUD (100US), my friends say is fair for a bench + weights for it.
