Hey guys, I just picked up this Nautilus squat rack w/ lat, 200lbs olympic weights, BB and curl bar for $175 off craigs list. So far I'm happy but would like to figure out where and/or how I could add some safety to my lifting. I was thinking on purchasing a couple spotter/safety stands but am not too sure if I have any other options. Any ideas? Thanks.

I have those safety stands. Got them at NYBB. I use them just like you are describing.

Nautilus Doesn't make any longer weight supports/pins to act as spotters? I'd call Nautilus and ask That way they'd match and fit right in. Thats an Awesome find!!!

I use a couple different things. The cheapest is those screw type dumbell handles. I put one in each of the lowest holes on the rack. They will stock out about 10" or so. The other easy option is some saw horses. I have some nice sturdy folding ones from hone depot. They of course are much longer then the dumbell handles. Both work great for me.

I need to do this. Good idea. I do know that they still carry replacement parts for my model.

Yeah I lucked out. The funny thing is that the person that was selling it lived in the same housing plan as me. We could have walked the pieces over lol.

what size are the holes?...depending where you live I could make a set to your length and send them to you.

I'm looking at pictures of stands online so that I can build my own. Owning a welder is fun!

If it is, he's been pretty good at avoiding it since the trap was set back in early 2008!
