I've been building up my dumbbell set slowly over the past year using craigslist, play it again sports, and fitness store sales. I've been buying hex dumbbells, but now I want to start buying dumbbells in sizes above 120, and it appears that only pro styles are available. Do they make Hex dumbbells above 120?
Thanks

in my years of shopping, I have not seen them above 120, and that is rare
you can find the 'pro style' Cap Barbell or Troy are about the cheapest, although I'd prefer the Magnum fitness line, but more money

Hey thanks for the reply. I think I'm just going to swithch to the pro style dumbbells.

Also, spoke to a guy today who said that they don't make hex above 120 because its a safety issue, something about how they are constructed, ends might break off.
