What's up everyone, it's now time to start a new log. I almost wrote down some crazy stuff since I'm watching Anchorman right now, but I don't think the humor quite matches up :). Anyways, as the title says I'm going to be using Powerfull, Cissus, and campho. I will be using these products for a period of 8 weeks, and they will be dosed as follows:

Morning
2 powerfull
2 cissus
2 cAMPH

preworkout
3 powerfull
2 cissus
2 cAMPH

bed
2 powerfull
2 cissus
1 cAMPH

http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/usp/power.html
http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/usp/cis.html
http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/usp/camp.html

My goals for this log will be the same as usual, strength. I don't care about anything else, I train strictly for strength. I could be a fat POS that can't walk up the stairs, but if I could bench 500...I'd be happy :) (I really don't know if that's a good or bad thing!). Anyways, current maxes are:

Bench: Roughly 325-330 (Just changed my whole technique and haven't tried it yet on heavy day. Could either add weight on, or I could be a little weaker since I'm not used to it. I honestly do not know, but I will find out either tonight or tomorrow

Squat: Don't know my max, last workout I hit 325x5 (Ass all the way down)

Deadlift: Again, not sure of my max...but been working with 375x5.

Squat and Deadlift I've only been training Consistently for about a month. There were times within the last few months where I trained them for a week here, a week there...and then had to stop because of back problems. I now have been doing them consistently for a month, and am looking for these numbers to jump rather quickly since they're new to me.

Diet: My main sources of protein will come from: Lean Beef, Chicken, Milk, Whey, fish.

Carbs: Yammits, Brown Rice, oats (Rolled and steel cut), veggies, fruits, 100% Whole Wheat Bread (No high fructose, Corn Syrup)

Fats: My main source of fats actually come from PB, my meats, and my milk.

Will be eating 6-7 meals per day, the only "crap" I'm going to be eating will be some fluff with my peanut butter on whole wheat :) .

Workout: I workout with a modified westside for bench, and I use basic stuff for deadlift and squat to build it before I go to something more advanced. I've always been trying to find the right workout for me, and I must say that so far I'm really liking the one I'm on. I also wanted to give credit to a member here "BPM Osgood". He posts mainly in the powerlifting section, and has completed a 542 bench in competition at 162 lbs.! He's a very nice guy, and someone actually posted a video of him on pg.2 of the powerlifting videos thread in the powerlifting section. So here's what my workout is looking like as of right now...

Bench Days:

Dynamic Day:
Speed Bench: 9 sets of 3 Reps (9x3)
Side Raises: 3x8-10
Light Tricep: 4x10-12
Abs

Max Effort Day:
Bench: Warm-up, Work set - 2 sets of 3-5 reps
Max Effort Exercise changed up every 2 weeks for 2 sets of 3-5
Close Grip Bench press: 2x5
Extentions: 3x6-10
Front Plate Raises: 3x8-10

For Heavy Bench I'm not going to failure every week, they work in 7 week "microcycles," and say you want to hit 315 by the end of your cycle (as it was explained to me by BPM) It would look something like this:

week 1 - 260x2x5
week 2 - 270x2x5
week 3 - 280x2x5
week 4 - 290x2x3
week 5 - 300x2x3
week 6 - 310x2 reps
week 7 - 315x1

Then when you start over again, you just adjust the weights as you need.

Thanks BPM!

Squat Day is as follows, though I also switch that up every few weeks with the exception of actual squatting.

Squats: 3x5
Box Squats: 3x8-10
Reverse Hypers: 3x10-12
Lat Exercise: 3x8-10
Hammer Curls: 2-3x8

Deadlift Day:

Deadlifts: 3x5
Good Mornings: 3x8-10
Back Extensions: 3x10-12
Lat Exercise: 3x8-10
Biceps Exercise: 3x8-10

Workout Days are usually Sunday, Tues, Wed, Fri...though the Tuesday interchanges with Mondays sometimes.

Cardio: None, maybe some basketball every now and then (Though I don't like to accept the fact that I suck now, so probably not :) ).

Sleep: At least 8 hours every night.

Other Supps:
Multi
Fish Oils
Thermolife Cre2 (Been on a while, won't skew the results)
Lean Green
Vit C
Vit B complex
Also, some type of stim before the gym.

Stats: 5'11, 225, roughly 14% bf.

Measurements: I will take them tonight or tomorrow and then post them.

I will also see if I can take some pictures on my cell phone and post them up. I'm not too savvy with the whole picture/computer thing so we will see what happens with that.

If there's anything that anyone can think of that I may have left out, or that anyone is wondering about, just ask, and I will answer. Like I said, Sunday is my gym day...but I'm only working on about 5 hours of sleep right now, so if I can't get in at least a 3 hour nap today sometime then I will be going tomorrow. Either way, I will post back today or tomorrow. I will be updating every gym day, and on my off days only if I have something to report. Take care all, thanks for reading.

Allriight, here we go...first day kicking it off!

Flat Bench:
Warmup:
Barx8
135x6
185x2
225x2
275x1
Workout:
290x2
290x3 (This wasn't bad, I was supposed to get 2 sets at 290x3. As I said in my intro though, I've totally changed around my whole benching technique, and this is the first heavy day that I've tried it. I also moved my grip out about 3 weeks ago, so I'm still working on bringing up the strength of the new muscles that are being used. I wasn't disappointed today though, felt pretty good for everything being new. The first set I'm sure I would've gotten 3, and possibly even 4...but I totally screwed up my whole technique after the 1st rep. I let my whole body go lose, and I let go of my arch, as well as every other technique I've been practicing lately :). It's ok, hopefully I'll get my expected 300x3 next week...I will be practicing my technique with no weight 4 days a week that I'm at the gym.)

Decline:
285x5
290x4

JM Presses:
225x5
225x4

Weird Triceps Machine (That's what I always call it, I wanna say flex daddy came out with the name of it before...but I'll have to go to my past logs and find out...lol, I know...sounds weird, but I really don't know the name...and really don't feel like trying to explain it)
180x8
180x8
180x9

Side Raises:
25x8
25x8
25x8

That was todays workout. As I said, I will be working on my new bench form all the time...as I felt I would never hit my max potential if I didn't do it. I like this way a lot, I just have to get used to it. So overall, it was a nice day in the gym. I will post back Tuesday after Squats unless I have something to report on. I will also try to get those pics up tomorrow if I can figure it out. I didn't want to take them right after the gym when I was pumped, don't wanna look bigger than I am. Thanks guys, and again, if there's anything that anyone is wondering about don't hesitate to post it.

Thank John, I appreciate it. Here comes my first pic actually, I have one in my phone that my brother took of me at our gym right before we started deadlifting last week! So here's one for fun, and the rest will come tomorrow :). BTW, I'm not a "tough guy" who wears a wife beater to the gym, I was just going to change my shirt, and my brother wanted to take a pic, lol :)

Thank you sir, that means a lot coming from you...and btw, I hate you for benching that much...that will be the happiest day of my life when I do that, lol. :) I figure it will come eventually though since I've only been powerlifting and training seriously for 8 or 9 months, but I'm very impatient with my strength. Again though, thank you for the kind words, I appreciate it.

Alriiight, very nice workout tonight. My back started hurting a little bit during squats though, so I took it easy on those types of exercises. (if you look closely at my back double bi pic, you can see the scar on my lower back from the surgery vaguely.)

Squats:
Warmup:
Barx8
135x6
225x3
275x2
Workout:
325x5
330x5 (Up 5lbs. and 2 reps from last week!)

Reverse Back Extensions:
BW x 12
BW x 12

Lat Pulldowns:
200x8
200x8
200x9

Hammer Curls:
40x8
40x7 (Took less time in between sets on these)

It was a very good day overall, I also worked on my bench technique some more, as I will doing everyday now. I will be reporting back after speed day tomorrow.

jmil
12-21-2005, 03:15 PM
Dynamic Day:
Speed Bench:
8 x 3 @ 185

Dumbbell Shoulder Press:
60x8
65x5
60x7

Elbows Out Extensions:
30x12
30x12
30x15

Abs..

I worked on 2 different bench techniques today for about 20 minutes, so it's starting to come along more...but I still have a lot of practicing to do. Gotta have everything become like 2nd nature. Later I'm going to post up some pictures of my gym...it's a small powerlifting gym, and the owner has won many awards for powerlifting around the country a long time ago, and he was also the first person to deadlift 700 in N.H. He's a great guy, and I have learned a lot from him. The gym is in the back of his house, and there's a code so that you can get in any time of day. I would never lift anywhere else. This obviously doesn't have anything to do with my log, but the place is pretty damn cool...so I figured I'd post a couple pics. Peace guys, will be posting back later.

It's really anyone who wants to join, can join. They used to have a bunch of members, powerlifting team, etc...they've been around sincd 1977. Now though, I think there's only like 30 members or so. Most of them are the old school guys who have been lifting there forever. It's pretty cool. Not many people around the area know of the place though, and if they do...they wouldn't have a clue how to get there. It's good like that though, cuz everyone there is serious and there to lift. Everyone there is knowledgeable and very helpful too. I've learned so much from the guys there, they pretty much taught me all my form on the big 3, especially Mr. Andrews. I'm going to post the pics right now, check back in like 10 minutes if you see this post NC.

Yea, I think even all the old guys who go there are stronger than me, lol! :)
this one guy there is a bit older now...but he told me a story that they were at a meet one time, and Lou Ferrigno was there. He said he went up against him in an overhead press, mind you this guy was in the 148lb. weight class. He said he tied him in the lift, hahaha...that was the first day I went, damn was I intimidated! :(

Very good day today...

Deadlifts:
Warmup:
135x6
225x5
315x3
Workout:
375x5
385x5 (These went very well, kept my back straight and wasn't pulling up with my back. Usually if I feel like I can pop out a couple more, I do...and I don't know why I stopped at 5 with the 385, I feel like I could have gotten 7 or 8. Oh well, I shall go up next week and find out. My back was hurting a little bit this week, as I believe I tweaked it squatting...but come this morning it was feeling very good again.)

Bent-Leg Good Mornings:
155x8
175x8 (Testsing the weight with these since I just started them.)

Reverse Back Extensions:
BW x 11
BW x 10

Cheat Barbell Rows:
245x6
245x6
245x6

Dumbbell Curls:
45x8
45x7

All lifts were up, and I felt great during the workout. I haven't been on the stack for that long, so I can't totally attribute it yet...but I must say that I have high hopes for the next 7 weeks. I will be posting back Sunday morning after bench, probably going early since it's Christmas. Take care everyone, and Happy Holidays to you and your families.

Well....let's just say it was a bad day!

Bench:
Wanted to hit 2 sets of 300x3 today. Took it off the rack, and didn't feel to heavy...but totally screwed up my technique AGAIN. I've realized getting used to this whole new thing will take some time, and I've lost a little bit of power as a result if I don't hit it the right way. When I get the technique going, everything falls into place. Anyways, after I screwed up my technique I hit 300 for a couple singles...and then Just practiced form. Finally (after many swears, yelling, and scaring the **** out of my brother) I hit my technique perfect, and now have it down to a T (I think at least) ! So...since I tweaked my chest a tiny bit too, I decided to just go home...and redo this workout next week. I'm not going to go up or anything, I'm going to do this workout over with a good technique and see how it goes. Though I'm still a little angry, one good thing that came out of it was that I finally know how to do my setup and technique correctly. Sp that's all to report for today, I will post back Tuesday after Squats. Merry Christmas to everyone and your families as well...I hope you all have a wonderful day. Take care!

Don't even sweat the bad day man. Changing technique can be tough sometimes, I know from experience. I know that 300x3 isn't a problem for your big ass to blast up. Good luck and you have a good one man. Later

Thanks for the inspiration man, yea...300x3 wouldn't be that bad to put up with my old technique, lol...but I changed it because I know my bench will never get to its full potential if I didn't change it with the wider grip, and everything else. Man, that day really pissed me off. Oh well though, what can ya do...but like I said, thanks for the encouragement.

Yesterday was squats day but I've been feeling like s***, so I decided to take the night off...rather rest than break myself down more. I will be lifting today since it's dynamic day. I will post back later on tonight when I get back from the gym. Hope everyone had a very nice holiday.

Really, wow...I was actually lead to believe that everyone can take their bench to the next level with a wider grip since there's less of a range of motion...Maybe I'll try my normal grip with my new technique this week. that may work better since I have better triceps strength than lat strength. Thanks for the Post John, you're really making me think!

I agree with this. My bench is much better from a narrower grip. I finally figured this out when I was close gripping almost what I was benching. I made the adjustment and my bench is much better now. I feel this is a personal preference and whatever u are most comfortable with. I was also wondering if u are feeling any affects from the powerFULL yet such as muscle fullness etc... I just ordered a bottle to start after my NHA. Later

I made the adjustment and my bench is much better now. I feel this is a personal preference and whatever u are most comfortable with. I was also wondering if u are feeling any affects from the powerFULL yet such as muscle fullness etc... I just ordered a bottle to start after my NHA. Later

I might actually go heavy again today since I didn't do much the other day, so might possibly find out how this goes. As far as muscle fullness, nothing really to be honest...but this is only the 2nd week right now, so it will probably kick in soon. In that 1 week though, my squats and deadlifts felt very good...even my bench felt good the week before this past one. I'll definitely post if I feel anything.

Alriiiight...so....I was going to go heavy today to try and make up for Sunday and finally make sure I have everything down..so here's what happened...but I decided to just throw on 300 and do a couple singles to feel if I had my form and everything going...I didn't. So basically I just did a couple of singles again today, and they didn't do much for me. I figured out one more thing though...the thing I'm not used to most is benching it more over my stomach. Sunday will be a heavy day again (I never do 2 heavy days in a week, but I thought I was going to be able to get it right today). I'm going to bench a little higher on my chest where I have my power. I did a few different grips today, and a few different setups. I think my best one today was feet back, on tippy toes...but I don't know if I like my new grip, or my old grip better. So Sunday I will try this thing again...If I don't get it, I'm going to take a week, and rest...If I only get a couple I won't be too disappointed because when my max was still at 330, I was only hitting 300 for 2, my 1 rep max power has always been muuuuuch more than my rep max whether it be 2 or 10. The most I have ever hit 300 for was 3, and I wias still only benching about 330-335. I don't know, I'm a little frustrated..but I'm just gonna hit the rest of this week hard, get to Sunday, and decide what I do from there. If anyone has any opinions or suggestions feel more than free to throw them out at me. Besides that, I did....

Speed Sets:
8 x 3 @ 185

Triceps Pushdowns:
3 x 12

Side Raises:

3 x 8 @ 25

Next lifting day is Friday - - - Deadlifts!...now that I'm looking forward to :)...but my bench always bothers me more than anything, and I've always had to work my hardest on that to get it up...as you all can see, I'm anal about it! Have a good night everyone.

Thanks NC, you have a safe and good new year as well!...goodluck on starting it!

I don't know if anyones noticed, but I haven't posted in a couple days. I've been feeling crappy, so I just took a couple days off. I'm going to be back at it tomorrow, will post back then. Happy New year to everyone, keep safe, and have fun.

NC and Pace, thanks to both of you guys...and Merry Christmas to both you and your families as well! And as far as lifting in prison, haha...that comment made me laugh! I love it!

Dallas - Thanks for the kind words, I appreciate it. Merry Christmas to you and your family. I see that you're still 16 years old, hopefully Santa will bring you something nice, lol. Good to see you are on here learning all you can, taking care of yourself, etc. at such a young age! I wish I would have gotten into this that early in my life! Most kids don't take any interest in there health these days, so good for you! Take care bud.

thank you very much Jmil :) yes santa brought me many awesome things for gym ;) thanks i see my friends and how they look at my age with guts and my one friend is obese so that drives me to stay healthy...i just find it rewarding and its awesome to follow in what Arnold and so many other bodybuilders feel everyday...the lifestyle and so on...

good luck and happy new years!!

First off, Happy New Year to everyone and their families...hope you all have a safe and healthy one.

Now to the day...Well, here it is...I finally got everything rolling right today, it wasn't until the end...but I got it.

Thanks to Mr. Aries and NC2315, you guys were definitely correct on the narrower grip.

Like I said, I finally got my technique down...but I realized last week I was putting the bar too low on my stomach, where I didn't have any power...so today, I was watching that...I did the wide grip in the beginning, then my last set, I hit my old grip...here's how it went.

Flat Bench:
Warmup:
Barx8
135x6
185x2
225x2
275x1 (All of the warmups were wide grip)
Workout:
300x1 (Wide Grip, was kind of hard...so i was obviously a little pissed)
315x0 (Wide Grip, now I was very pissed)
Then I decided I was going to try my new technique with my old grip, and focus on not bringing low on my stomach.)
315x1 (Old Grip) (Ok, so then I was very happy...I hit it on my 2nd attempt wth my old grip. No more am I ever going to try and do a wide grip, the narrower grip is what I'm going to stick with. I'm guessing that's why my bench has been so shi*** lately. So...now I am happy! :) I believe if I didn't put m ALL into the 300, and didn't have to take a second attempt at the 315 that I would've been able to hit a 325 today. So here's my plan now...I'm going to lower the weights next week, and start a new 6 week cycle of bench hoping to end up at 335-340 on my next max...the cycle might actually last 8 instead of 6 weeks, I haven't totally planned it out yet. So, after my life story of the day, the final word is...Good day!...I finally "found" my bench! :)

Floor Press:
225x5
235x4

JM's:
230x4
230x3

Ghetto Triceps Machine: I even took a pic, but my phone sucks...and it for some reason didn't sent to my e-mail...I'll get it up here next week.
170x10
180x10
180x10

Side Raises:
25x8
25x8
25x8

Ok, that was the day...overall I was very happy. I finally figured out what I believe to be the best bench technique for me, and I'm now hoping to take it to the next level. My diet has sucked today...I didn't get home from until 5am last night, and I slept until 2 today. I got up, had a shake, went to the gym, had a shake...and I just had some kratom, so I had one more shake...it's all whole meals for the rest of the night! Alright, I'm out...the girlfriend is bitching at me to get off the computer so we can watch Madagascar :(. I'll be posting back Tuesday after my lift, or before if anyone comments. Thanks guys, hope you all had a good night last night.

Dallas - Good job bro, keep it up! :)

I forgot to mention in my last post that today I took 12.5mg of vasopro and 200mg caffeine a half hour before my workout. I used to take ephedra a while back before the whole ban thing...but this was my first time taking ephedrine. I liked it, but don't really know how to explain it...I did get dizzy after a lot of reps on assistance exercises!...but I felt like I had a bit more energy and power, could've been placebo though..we'll see next time. Posting back Tuesday.

haha, yes it is...honestly, Westside worked like craaaazy for me. As I said a few times before, counting right now...I started lifting seriously in March, after my bad back surgery...and I started out at 225 (keep in mind I lifted on and off for a month here, a month there before, so I had a little bit of a base)...but from then to now (10 months actually), I've put about 100 pounds on my bench..most always using westside templates. Granted, I did do a couple of cycles (1ad/4ad, and ergo)...so I did get a little help, but even before starting my first cycle, I had put on 50lbs to my bench in 2 months. I think I will always use a westside template...ask Mr Aries what he does as well, he's benching like 365x6 or something crazy like that, lol. If you have any questions or anything though, just let me know bud.

congrats.. Sometimes having a great bench is about finding the powerpoint and the groove... Once you find the accurate position to drop in a straight line on your chest, and find a grip that is best for you, it's like BOOM!!!!

Some sets I have problem getting up 335 with a stupid grip.. Other sets I have the right mentality and everything just seems so right, I get over 400.. I think it's like a bball player in the zone and shooting the lights out popping 3s like a pinball machine..

Wow dude awesome yeah ive looked at westside before to be honest its confusing lol :) but i mean if it will help my bench ill try incorporate as much as i can...Yeah Mr Aries is quite the moose :D...

ok well for christmas (lucky devil) i got a bench thats incline,flat,decline..
and im doing all the different chest workouts you can do with that setup...
and my chest feels good so far but im doing only dumbbell work for flat benching ( where i suck) so should i stay away from barbell flat benching until i get to quite a high dumbbell weight?

could that take me above my max(only going ot test heavy flat benching when i have spotters... thx for any questions or whatever ...

no idea about the different benching programs.. I never really deviated anything from my bench.. I jsut always go heavy and low reps and over time, they just went up..

My freshmen year in college (1999), I walked into the gym and put up 135lbs for a max... second year it was 225x5.. third year 275x1.. 4th year 315x1...

it just went up linearly with no difference in training program... Now I"m 2 years removed from college and the bench is still going up every now and then... Genetics or something... no idea..

I think everyone has some sick strength in one of their bodyparts..

Confusing....tell me about it, it's taken me like a year to figure it out...lol. Dallas, if you ever want any help understanding westside or anything, just let me know. check out the program wrote up in the beginning of this log too, you can find the kid in the powerlifting videos thread who wrote it up for me...BPMOsgood. Strong ass kid, and the video is of him at 19 doing 460 I believe...at like 160 lbs. I've been liking the program a lot so far too. Mr. Aries is just a damn beast (just me being jealous :) )...and just strong as hell, but I'm sure if you keep working at it in any way, it will eventually go up. If you do decide you want to try some type of program though, feel free to pm me anytime you like. Peace out boys, will be posting back tonight after squats.

Not a bad day, a bit disappointing...but not too too bad..here it is...

Squats:
Warmup:
Barx8
135x6
225x4
275x1
315x1
Workout:
375x0
375x0 ( I believe this is currently that 6th week that I've ever been squatting. First time I squatted I hit a max of 370...and tonight, I didn't get 375, it was very weird to me...but I'm not too upset. The guy spotting me told me that my form was awful, and I fell forward both times...plus, he said my head was straight down. I don't know, I really thought I was gonna break 400...but I'll max again in 6 or 7 weeks. After that I was dead, but one of the older guys there made me (I sound like a little kid acting up in school) do 3 more sets of 315, so....
315x5
315x5
315x5 (None of these sets were very hard, and I kept my head looking straight up on each rep...so I felt good, like I could've hit it if I would've had everything flowing...oh well.)

Reverse Hypers:
25 x 10
25 x 10

Triangle Lat Pulldown:
200x8
200x8
200x8

Hammer Curls:
45x8
45x8

Overall, not a bad night. I ate like complete s*** today, and my meal before the gym was only my second of the day :(...I'm currently going on 5 right now, so I caught back up...but I got up waaay too late today. I'll be posting back after speed day tomorrow. Have a good night all.

I forgot to mention that I had the most wicked leg pumps tonight! I have had some pumps before from WB and from thunder, bet never anything like this. I noticed it when I sat in my car, and I was like "huh, so that's what a pump feels like!" lol...honestly, it was weird. My lats also felt very pumped when I sat down. Just forgot to post that, and wanted to add it in cuz I know someone had asked if I had felt any pumps yet.

Alright, it's been a few days since I've worked out...I didn't do bench on Wednesday since I went heavy both days last week, wanted to rest it a bit..and I wasn't feeling well later on in the week, still feel like s*** actually...but oh well, here we go...good day today.

Flat Bench:
Warmup:
Barx8
135x6
185x2
225x2
Workout:
275x4
275x4 (These went nice and smooth, and they were very slow and controlled! Haven't done slow and controlled in a while. Next week I will move up to 285 and see if I can hit the same (not slow though :) )

Floor Press:
235x4
235x4

JM's:
230x4
230x4

Skull Crushers:
Preacher Bar + 40 x 6 (Hurt my wrist a little, so I stopped)

Elbows Out extensions:
35x8
35x8

Side Raises:
25x8
30x8
30x8

Good day, felt good...took some ephedrine again, only doing that on Heavy bench days. Will be posting back Tuesday after squats.

Note: My diet suuucked big time this week, still got in 5-6 meals...but they weren't always very good ones. Gonna work on that this week. Also, forgot to take my 3rd dose of these supps for like 3-4 out of the 7 days this week...wasn't a great week...will not forget this week though.

Good day today. I felt like I should hit a max on squats, as I had a terrible workout on Squat day last week..

Squats:
135x6
225x3
275x1
315x1
375x1
405x1 ( I kept tight, had great form, and kept my head up...and it went very smooth. I was going to try 420, but my legs were spaghetti after that. This is my 8th week training squats, so I am very happy with my progress...I maxed the first day that I started squatting, and hit 370...so I've gained 45 lbs., and even possibly a little more on the squat in 8 weeks time. oh and btw, it's ASS TO GRASS BABY! lol :) )

Hack Squats:
2 plates x 8
2 plates + 10's x 8

Reverse Hypers:
45's x 8
45's x 8
45's x 8

Lat Pulldowns:
200 x 8
210 x 8
220 x 8

Called it a day after that, I was pretty tired...and could barely walk, so basically...it was a great day! I also wanted to say that instead of 3 servings throughout the day, I tried 4 powerfull, 3 cissus, and 3 campho's before training, and was going to take all my pills in 2 servings, instead of 3. I felt great tonight, and felt like I flew through everything...I will continue to do this on workout days...while I continue to do it in 3 separate servings on non-workout days. Will be posting back tomorrow after Dynamic Bench Day.

Some things to note here...

1. I'm noticing I am considerably leaner than I was when I started, even my dad (who always calls me fat, lol) was like "wow."

2. Pumps have been good in the gym lately.

3. Since starting this, I have had no joint pain whatsoever...I used to still have some pain when I used gluc/Chond/MSM...I will be buying some bulk cissus powder very soon as well so I can continue using it.

4. I stated above that I have gone from taking it 3 times a day on workout days, to 2 times...I like the feeling I get from taking 4 powerfulls, 3 cissus, and 3 camphos...don't know, maybe it's in my mind...but I don't really care, I like it nonetheless...

So far, very impressed.

What's up everyone, it's now time to start a new log. I almost wrote down some crazy stuff since I'm watching Anchorman right now, but I don't think the humor quite matches up :). Anyways, as the title says I'm going to be using Powerfull, Cissus, and campho. I will be using these products for a period of 8 weeks, and they will be dosed as follows:

Morning
2 powerfull
2 cissus
2 cAMPH

preworkout
3 powerfull
2 cissus
2 cAMPH

bed
2 powerfull
2 cissus
1 cAMPH

http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/usp/power.html
http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/usp/cis.html

Looks great, bro. IM me if you're having trouble staying on track.

Alriiight...Not a bad workout today, but I learned another lesson in the world of training. I believe I've been going up too much every week on weight for the bench...I don't know why, but I've been trying to go up 10 lbs. every week, and it back fired on me today. From NOW ON, I will try to go up 5 lbs. every week, and if I don't hit it, I will keep the same weight the next week...sooooo, here we go folks.

Also, more evidence today of the reps I can do not equating whatsoever to my 1 rep max, but...that will come....

Flat Bench:
Warmup:
Barx8
135x6
185x2
225x1
255x1
Workout:
285x3 (Wow, after the first 2 reps I thought I was going to get 5...then right after the 3rd rep...BANG, I'm cooked...I went for the 4th and just got crushed, and used a lot of energy on it too...)
290x2 (Well, I thought it was a freak thing...and since the 285x3 was so easy I figured I'd hit 5 more lbs. no problem...welllll, no, that didn't happen. Again, after the 1st one, I thought I would kill 3...buuuut, nope...after 2, the 3rd one crushed me...sooo, now I know just go up 5lbs. every week. Next week I will start at 290 and hopefully do 2 sets of 3.)

Floor Press:
245x3
245x4

Close-Grip Bench:
235x3
235x3

Skull Crushers:
Preacher + 35's x 8
" " x 8
" " x 7

Shoulder work with Cables (Front, Side, and back raises)

2 x 12 of each @ 20 lbs.

Not a bad workout, but pissed at myself for getting too anxious to put up more weight. I am going to continue to lift with the same template, but will do 8 week microcycles with triples for bench, and maybe a couple more reps here and there if I feel I can do it..the 7th week I will do sets of 2, and the 8th and final week I will max out...That is how my workouts will go from now on, AND ONLY GOING UP 5 LBS. EACH WORKOUT!!! :)

:p wooh finally back at your log man...lol...i think for now im going to concentrate on what i have now...thx
ill look at it soon...

Allllright, well......I decided to end my log here, since I'm feeling a bit overtrained, and I feel it's time to take a full week off. I've taken a couple days off here and there, but my whole body just needs to eat, rest, eat rest, eat, rest, plus I'm starting a new job next week.

It was a nice 5 week run, with some very good strength gains with my squat and deads...and I am noticeably slimmer (in my eyes, that is) I will put up some pics tomorrow or Monday. So here's how it went....

Bench: I've been a plateau with the bench for a while, and I'm finally fixing up my program as I've stated a couple times in here, so...that's the same.

Squats: Start - Working with 325x5
End - I did 340x5 last week with some left in me, and maxed at 405

Deads: Start - Working with 375x5
End - Maxed at 455, sure I can do 405x5 now though.

Weight: Start -225 (First thing in the morn)
End - 220 (First thing in the morn)
Haven't changed my diet, if anything I've been eating crappier foods...and I am slimmer.

Needless to say, I was very happy with these products...and would stack them again in an instant. I will be very happy next time I stack them, because of the changed I'm making to my benching program, and I would like to see what I could gain on that. Again, this was a very good stack, and I was quite impressed.

I will be starting some new products next week (NHA stack and x-factor) though I will not be doing a log since I am now a molecular rep, and I don't want anyone to think I am being bias with my log. I will keep my journal as usual, and if anyone has any questions, or is wondering how the stack is working out, feel free to pm me. Thanks to everyone who got in on this log, I always appreciate it! Take care everyone, see ya on the next log :)

Thanks Dallas, I appreciate it!! I plan to be killing the weights on my next stack, I wanna triple 315 by the end...but that's just a goal, we shall see!

And don't worry man, when you get a little older, you'll definitely get to the Arnold!
