Hi everyone

I just found this great site of help regarding bodybuilding, but
I wish to ask for some peoples' opinion about the matter, if it's possible to arrange any physical defects through training?

Frankly, I have somewhat a structure which i'm not happy with, mainly my shoulders. (really dissapointing) They're way too narrow, making my head look disproportioned.

Is it possible to widen the bone through any form of training? As I guess muscle massing still wouldn't be enough. However I'm already 24 though, a bit old i guess :(

What would you suggest me please?
In the situation i'm know, i'm ready for any training
Any help greatly appriciated it

Thanks

no...peroid.
bones bone brother aint no wts gonna fix bone problems. although your posture may be an isssue keep your shoulders back and chest up high..also packing muscle on the shoulders would greatly help with the look of larger wider shoulders...thats about it for making your shoulders look bigger imo.

Even though over the course of 10 years our body replaces all of our "Bone Cells" It has a Modeled form that it follows... Sometimes this modeled form picks up imperfections like from a broken bone or a torn joint...

But it's almost always a bad thing...

Bones when we're young have growth plates which affects their growth and their size... We grow from the outside in... Meaning that the limbs are first to grow in the early to mid teenage years. (You probably remember this as your "Clumsy" and awkward phase of life...

The last thing to finish growing on a male is his shoulders and rib cage, which you'll often hear being called "Filling out." Which happens anywhere between 18-21... Though my one buddy who was an extremely late bloomer, filled out at 25... From there what you've got is what you've got...

Over time as your testosterone levels drop in early 30's on, Estrogen naturally goes up and your bones soften and your pelvis widens...

One of the beauties of BBing is that he weight greatly increases bone density... On average every 6 months of weight training increases your bone density by 17%... And it also helps to keep up your test levels... Thus you stave off the affect of looking older, and getting that soft spread.

I'm loving the fact that I have a studly physique while my contemporary's are all getting fat, soft and dumpy looking!

***
Now as for your Appearance... BBing will improve your posture greatly (Assuming you're on a good and well balanced routine.) This will help the look of your shoulder proportion... As one woman told me... "Mmmmm... Good posture looks sexy on a man!"
LOL!

But by adding muscle to your shoulders you'll greatly alter these appearance flaws you're bothered by...

Ultimately though in the end it's about learning to be more comfortable and confident in your own skin... And confidence is one of the main fabrics in the wardrobe of what makes a man.

yeah that surely I lack - I have low self esteem due to may ugly appearance :(

From what I'm still reading off this infinite-info. site I found out that one must train all the body, so I can't opt to build up shoulder muscles only, can I ?
But then again, if I train my whole body, wouldn't it grow gradually the same? (I have my shoulder bone width of equal length as my pelvis...nearly)

What excercises would you specifically suggest me?
thanks loads

Wow... You're asking a pretty huge question here Bro...

But in a way... Yes and No... On pretty much everything you asked...

Yes you can build shoulders if you just train shoulders alone... (For that I reccomend looking up some posts started by a guy on this site named DiamondDelts) who's our resident Deltoid guru...

But the reality is that if you train the whole body the shoulders will go with it...

But you're going to grow muscle, and the shape and proportion of your body is going to grow...

The one thing that you're going to find is that BBing is a solution to both your mental and physical areas that you want to work on...

I've always said "The changes that happen from BBing are more mental than they are physical."

You learn things about yourself in the journey... You learn that you indeed have no limits and that only time and dedication lay between you and anything you want to accomplish with your fitness level... And when you learn that, you learn that the same forumla applies to everything else in your life...

You stop thinking things like "Oh I shouldn't even waste my time talking to that girl... She'll just think I'm ugly!" Instead you start thinking things like "She wants to sleep with me... She just doesn't know it yet!"

It's because it teaches you the right kind of confidence... Not the arrogant horse**** that spews out from youth... Some guys mis-understand the transition and they just get a big head and want to bang chicks, thinking that it's the reason... But you don't seem like you're the type of guy to mis-figure this sort of thing...

For now, the solution is two fold...
1. Keep reading, keep learning, read the stickies, and keep asking questions (Just make sure you mention that you're a noob and would appreciate detail to the questions you ask.)

2. Use Nike's slogan... "Just Do it!"
Get a gym membership, and start lifting... Make sure you include the lower body... It's a learning process that just keeps growing as fast as you do!

Good Luck Bro!
And welcome to the begining of a new you!
