Coming off that week layoff i started to do light weight workouts to get my body acclimated for heavy bench again. Today i decided to test my strength again because i felt as if it had risen again. Heres how it went.

Warm up sets 135 X 12, very, very easy
2nd set 200 X 11, still easy
3rd set 225 X 5, felt good and ready for a max

I tried my old max of 320, felt a little light so i decided to put a 5 pounder on each side. End result was 330 max. Coming off of the bench break i felt weak, it just took another 2 to get me back into it and the end result was my strength had risen. Even better news is that i matched my schools bench record, now i have the highest bench in the school, and im only a junior. Breaking it is just at the edge and i can feel it.

Thanks alot bro. Actually i've been doing the Bigger, Faster, Stronger program and it is the best thing me. I've trained West Side a little, and i do in a way because i've intergrated it into my own style. I do alot of negatives also, those work wonders for my strength. 30 pounds over my actual max is what i do for negatives, and I always do them on Wendesdays and Fridays.

I've got a pretty solid build. Im about 5'6 inches tall, i weigh 210 pounds around 16-17% bodyfat. My arms are 17.5 inches flexed around, my chest is around 47, and my legs are 26 1/2 inches thick. My waist is a 34, i try to pack on as much mass as i can.
