one more workout wednesday and i'll be off for the meet.

today was a very very light day (at least it felt like that)

so i worked on form and speed.

SQ :

285*2/4

easy, tried going down fast and getting up fast. works like a charm. still not dive bombing tho', i'm not gonna risk that. i also got a very strong and solid lockout. that rules. i felt it was all hips today

BE :

198*3/4

worked on my setup a bit.
i'm lucky i have a bit of a chest, because i don't seem to have that much arch... oh well we'll work on that.
but i noticed once my feet were blocked, under me and i was setup, the weight flew up. it was only 1 or 2 reps in the entire bench ex, but i know now how to setup for the bench to be tight enough.

DL :

285*2/4

found my way also,
few inches away, 3 i think. arching before i go down, grabbing breathing, and i stood up. felt really, REALLLY, REALLY light.

So this is your speed workout. When did you last do one similar to this one? Was the weight moving Really really really (!) fast, or just fast? Because you said it felt really really really light. :D Good job Deejay! Before you know it you will be doing weights over 400 that feel light! :D

yea you could say it was kind of a speed day.
ore working on technique and setup for the meet but you could say that

yeah.

SQ : 'loose' z suit with belt and wraps
BE : raw, maybe belt
DL : 'loose' deadlift suit and belt

i'm going there to with the will to win, but i'm also there to learn, and to show the others in my weight class there's another dangerous man in town now, and his name is BIG SPIKE ! :D

bench is my worst movement and i'm heading to a bench only meet lol....i am focused on the 3 lift jersey meet USAPL In July 03, i won't be diong any three lift meets until then...unless there is one i can find around here in december
