I am a 41 yr old female training for 21 yrs from the aerobic/step hey days to weight training/Body building. My ultimate goal that was supposed to be achieved by or at age 40 never came, was almost there as of this yr until the TRAINER I had dropped me 1 mnth out from my 1st show. Talk about devastation, (cant get into details about it, I am still baffeld myself) My 1 yr to date of when I started training last yr is coming up, the very beginning of December. I am getting very antsy as I miss the 1 on 1 training and when u have a goal to achieve 6-8 mnths out for a comp you feel on top of the world knowing & seeing the changes on you as I saw for the 5-6 mnths of training.

ANYONE, THAT KNOWS SOMONE THAT HAS TRAINED W/ A MALE TRAINER PLSE CONTACT ME HERE OR AT CANDY4KISS@YAHOO. Mind you, from the past experience & a whole hell of alot smarter, He must or have credentials of training woman for body building/figure or both. I want to be able to see proof that he has trained woman for shows reagrdless if it was that persons 1st show or not. It means the world to me to achieve this. I wont feel complete that I have not taken my body to the ultimate it can be at my age of 41 & be competitive. I have friends a bit younger then me & older then me that have competed.

I live in Union County,in Union, NJ. How I got my frist trainer was on this site
in "meet other body builders", someone read my post & bit the bait & told me to call this sports arena & ask for so & so, so that is how I wound up w/ that trainer. SO since i posted again after my devastating news, nothing ever came of it so I figured go on this Forum, this is for female bodybuilding! I know I can do this and have the fire & desire. Love being a exhibitionist, etc and the love of posing & doing routine to music is 1 of the best things too!

I thank you for reading this & God Bless you all to whom read this & maybe of some help! My heart still aches knowing I am back to where I was last yr, not so much of how to train, etc that I was not taken to the other side of the wall where the rest of you all are!

Gymcandy...I had spent ten years in gyms being a typical gym rat when last summer, I was told by a trainer that with my dedication, I'd be crazy not to compete. Well, In one year, he took me from your basic gym girl to number one middleweight in the NPC Tennessee State. All he did was introduce me to a workout routine and wrote out diets for me. I owe a lot to genetics but he has SO much experience and knowledge, it's crazy! He has also led 2 other trainers to first place categories (one in junior heavyweight and the other junior middle and overall). If you have someone to push you, I can talk to him about putting together your routines and diets. A lot of people are doing this via internet now. If you don't have a problem with it, let me know and I'd love to help. In the pic, he's the one in the middle (Knoxville Jr. overall and TN Mens Open 4th place)
