I was wondering this. You obvisouly see the pros with really vascular legs (~3-4% bf) but at what percent is do you generally get veiny legs? Im not prepping for a contest but i have realy veiny arms and and i can see the veins just under my skin on my legs but they arnt "popping" yet. I doubt on this cut they will show but its wierd that when not flexed my arms and legs have the same look (you can really see the veins under the skin) but when i workout my arms they get really vascular which is not the case with my legs

Thanks

My veins are starting to just press against the surface but not rip out and I'm around 12-14 %.

yeah, same here (but im around 11% now)

Its so frustrating cause i can see em so weell like when im doing cardio, just beneath the surface but they wont pop out!! (i dont expect them to at 11% tho)

Just keep hittin the cardio HARD! Leg vascularity will improve as bodyfat in the legs subside. There is really no magic number. From what you've said.... it seems as if you are on the right path to bringin out a mini road map. Do not get discouraged, some peoples legs lean out faster than others. Be consistent.

it's all genetics too, some guys, like me, can have vascularity in their limbs at low teens, some guys never really get it heavily, even in contest condition.
Chances are, if you've always had big smooth legs, they will stay that way right up until the end. If you have always had pretty cut legs, they will probably show vascularity sooner.
I'm still 10% here

Those pics are crazy! I barely had a few start popping out at my last competition and I was around about 7% I think.

Yeah, dude. I dont plan on giving up. Im not really concerned about it right now, i was more just wondering. On this cut i dont plan on going low enough to get veins in my legs but in my next cut during spring it would be kinda cool if they popped out :D When im doing HIIT it always seems like their just about to pop out...but they dont :(

Man those are some inspiring leg vein pics!! For the first time this year I had veins in my calfs....unfortunately not in the quads.....That is one of my major goals for next prep season.....leg vascularity.....Intense off season lifting, Off season/prep HIT and moderate cardio, and a well planned contest prep diet is going to be my recipe.

Semp- I did not realize how ridiculously vascular your legs really were......That pro-card is yours this yr.

I think it's mainly genetic, even when i'm 3 or 4% for a show i don't really have much vascularity on my legs even thought i'm full of veins in my upperbody...
