I'm about 20 lb over weight and I would like to lose that 20 lb and tone up. What would you say are the best supplements to start with to help me do this? And what about diet also? How do I know what good choices and bad choices are?

The foundation of any weight loss plan is establishing a good nutritional base, meaning eliminating the obvious junk food, take-out... Eating fresh, real food, is best: chicken, turkey, egg whites, red meat, fish, brown rice, pasta, potatoes, yams...

Once you have established quality eating, you can add supplementation such as thermos: Hydroxycut, Xenedrine...

Lots of water too will help eliminate retention and flush toxins and excess fat out.

its good that you notice you need to change something to achieve your goal to lose weight..some people just wish it away and obviously that doesnt work.
however...it is very important to think of how to change your diet before you even get the thought of fat loss supplements in your head...
i need to know your stats:weight, height, weightlifting/cardio routine before helping you with a good diet plan..and supplements.

your goal, how far away you are from your goal, and what you are willing to do(how much your willing to exercise) are all important factors in your diet and nutrition
