The Gods of Grind are still alive, and they're here to show us how they can still kick your face in. It's not even 2009, but I'm already sure this f*cker is going to be a sure contender for next year's list of my album picks.
I'm going to go ahead and say this is the catchiest, most memorable album they've made in a long time, and that's coming from a big fan of several recent Napalm Death releases, as well as the early ones. Smear campaign was a trip back to the early years of ND, and ruined your face so badly you couldn't have enough of it. Time Waits For No Slave is different, but just as as versatile. It adds some new ideas to their lately re-acquired raw style, this is most discernible in the choruses. Several songs have choruses with weird clean-ish vocals, similar to the ones sparsely found on previous albums. I think, that in an awkward manner, they fit the music perfectly. The riffs are also worthy of mentioning, since every song is chock-full of hooks.
Napalm Death are living legends of extreme metal, and they've yet to disappoint me. I don't think they have anything left to prove, but Time Waits For No Slave further perpetuates the awesomeness.

- Mike rapped the first verse of 'Hands Held High' over the Reanimated intro to 'Crawling'. Chris Cornell then joined the band for the song and sang the entire second verse, the outro, and Aaron's harmonies.
- Street Drum Corps performed on the intro to 'No More Sorrow', and came back out on the bridge of 'Bleed It Out'.
- Mike, on the intro to 'Papercut', said that every time he hears 'One Step Closer', it reminds him of hearing it for the first time ever on the radio in Phoenix at Chester's dad's house.
- Mike tries to light his lighter before 'Leave Out All The Rest'. It doesn't work, so Kurt tries to bring Mike another one, but Mike instead has all the fans put theirs up.

Better for you to get RAR, as DSL is not stable enough for torrents. I have Broadband and sometimes my router crashes as too much is going on the same time. I am uploading, downloading and browsing all at the same with my Media player going, my PC takes a beating everyday.

I would say to use Rapidshare because if you have an account, files uploaded can be up to 200MB, free account 100MB file size.

MegaUpload free account only allows 50MB file size so you would have to make a couple folders depending on size.

I am assuming you have WinRar to extract the stuff we put up, so it would be opposite. You would have to create a WinRar folder.

Man this is so much easier in person. I learned all PC stuff on my own. Not easy but being that I am a download whore, I needed to learn and quick.:D

Finding info on this band was hard, they only play 3-4 shows a year and have not had much activity lately.

Ex Lead Singer of Mushroomhead's Jason Popson local touring band. Most of the band played shows in Cleveland, hence the 216 name Clevelands Area Code.

I might check it out. This is the only Black Sabbath album with Dio on it that I've heard so far. It's good but it doesn't really sound like Sabbath to me, more like Rainbow or Dio (obviously). I like the early Black Sabbath doom metal type stuff more I think.

Black Asylum play a pretty old school style of early-Metallica-era thrash, and this full-length release features eleven tracks of variations on that theme, from the very hard to the balladic.

It?s a pretty rockin? album, bordering on metalcore at times. Some of it is quite hard, it brings us some chunky riffs, some nice guitars riding the melody, a bit of splash, some good harmonies, and a nice mix. The vocals on this release are layered further down, which gives the listener a focus on the guitar work, a lot of which is highly accomplished. There are some great leads here, and the fact that they are played up gives the album a polished air that it could easily have lacked. The other element that I really dug was the double-kick action?sans click pads. The sound would kick you in the chest if you saw these dudes live, I?d bet money on it.

In addition to these elements, you get some nice atmospheric melodies for variation. The key influences here are Metallica, definitely; maybe Megadeth to a lesser extent; and the ubiquitous Pantera.

I might check it out. This is the only Black Sabbath album with Dio on it that I've heard so far. It's good but it doesn't really sound like Sabbath to me, more like Rainbow or Dio (obviously). I like the early Black Sabbath doom metal type stuff more I think.

heaven and hell, mob rules and dehumanizer are all f'n gold man, some of the best stuff out there, rules of hell is fantastic...if anyone can listen to dehumanizer and tell me that it doesn't kick ass they need to be put on life support or something.
