The Breast Cancer site is having trouble getting enough people to click on their site daily to meet their quota of donating at least one free mammogram a day to an underprivileged woman. It takes less than a minute to go to their site and click on "donating a mammogram" for free (pink window in the middle). This doesn't cost you a thing. Their corporate sponsors/advertisers use the number of daily visits to donate mammogram in exchange for advertising.

on a side note, if anyone is interested in knowing, being vitamin D deficient raises your risk of breast cancer by a lot. This is a major issue for thos living in countries like in europe or canada, or northern states where sunshine is limited to summer time.
Those with optimal vitamin D levels have a 50-70% less risk of getting cancers such as breast, colon, prostate and lung, and even skin + others perhaps.
Probably a good idea to start up a supplement of vitamin D, 1000 IU + per day.

my wifes bosses, boyfreind of 20 yrs passed away monday at 78
He was a awesome man
3 weeks ago he found out he has full body cancer out of no where ,
wake weds , I'm on cancer watch for the 3rd time
im getting oral sugery weds am to get a " palup type " remove out of the back of my mouth
13 yrs ago had palups removes off my vocals cords only to find out
i was ok,
37 yrs ago i had a right testies that had to be " dropped " it was stuck on my hip
found out parents never told me

I'm sorry to hear about your scare - hopefully it's nothing to be concerned over, but kudo's to you for acting on it. There are constant advancements in the treatment and screening of breast cancer due to the amount of funding that it gets, though! This not only helps to find treatments for other cancers, but also will eventually make the screening and treatment cheaper...so there is hope for the politics to change!
I lost the love of my life a few months ago to cancer (not breast cancer), so I look forward to the day when this evil affliction is history. Breast cancer research does more good than most people realize.
Hopefully you are able to get that checked out (and acted on, if necessary) sooner rather than later. Good luck!

Thanks for bumping this! I found this post today and went to the website immediately. I work in radiation oncology and treat breast (and every other type of cancer) patients with radiation on a daily basis. Mammograms save lives and if not, then they help with early detection, which saves lives.
