Hey Everyone,

I posted pics of myself on here at 5 weeks out and got some great advice. Right now, I'm at a little over 2 weeks out and had some general concerns that may be able to be addressed here. First, right now my obliques and lower abs still seem to lack tightness that I see in the rest of my body. I am doing cardio 2x a day for 45 minutes on the treadmill (3.5 mph on 15.0 incline) along with my diet. My diet consists of mainly chicken, broccoli, and protein shakes along with yams and oatmeal. Specifically, I'll have a cup of oatmeal and 4 egg whites in the morning (1 yolk) before morning cardio and lift, then 2 chicken breasts and brocolli, then 2 chicken breasts and a yam, then 2 chicken breasts, then 2 chicken breasts and brocolli, and a protein shake before bed. Its about 250protein and 100+ carbs. I currently weigh 196 so Id like to know whether i should start lowering my carbs now or if i should be doing more cardio. In addition, any advice on ways to staying awake as I am in college and have midterms in these next few weeks up until the contest (coffee...etc???).

Thanks for all your help,
Jason

caffeine pills!! and black coffee with splenda. But more than anything...don't forget to sleep because ur body is hurting with that cutting diet anyways and u want to save as much muscle as you can. Sooo remember to get adequate sleep and dont waste too much time on stupid forums lol.

Eliminate the oatmeal and sweet potato and increase your lean protein intake. I would also reduce the cardio to one session instead of doing two. Drink 2-3 gallons of water per day.

I think you over-exaggerate your relaxed stances a little bit too much. Make sure you get your quarter-turns right (in the last pic you are getting in some kind of a pose + spiked calf).

Good luck at the show!

looking very good, one thing i noticed with the front relaxed is that u had ur toes point straight forward with feet close together this hides ur shape, i wud recomend as well with ne other front mandatory poses in general is that u have ur feet slightly wider maybe shoulders width with toes pointed outwards to the side and not in front as this will give more flair to ur quads and shud give you a more overal bigger appearance and that elusive x shape ..experiment and find a medium.
keep it up.

cut the 4 egg whites and 1 yolk and cup of oatmeal. b4 morning cardio. if your taking a fat burner. take it and some caffenine(if the fat burner doesnt have one) then do your morning cardio.. eat, then do your workout after your workout then do your next session of cardio after yoru workout(if i were i would keep both sessions in, but lower the incline to 0). Personally I plan my diet out BEFORE i plan i dieting. So know how many carbs i will already be eating in week 2, but i also adjust according to how i look, but you should be gradaully cutting carbs and increasing lean protien as you approach the show. Also your 2 weeks out so no more cheat meals dont even think about it.

2nd work on your posing, posing is so important, you can have the best body on stage, but if you cant present it properly you will lose to a less conditioned athlete that can persent it properly. you need to bend your knees more, your quarter turns look bad look at some other shows and look at there quarter turns, your head should nto be facing the audience when your at your side. back double bicep, you need to have one leg cocked back to show of hamstring and calf definition. good luck your almost there :)

Try neurostim for studying, add in AMP if you like.

You look good, you should tighten up remarkably when you load and drop all your water.

Work on your relaxed pose... Arms are too spread out, makes you look unnatural... When you blow out them lats, let your arms fall where they may... Also, you do look good... Change cardio to high-intensity short duration... Add some super-intensity bouts.... 5-10 min with 5-10 s sprints followed by 20-40 s rest periods..

You could use extra lean gound turkey instead of the chicken breast with the turkey you can get more protein with less fat and calories, just make sure its EXTRA LEAN. I would also drop the yam in the third meal. I would also eat more egg whites and less oatmeal in the morning, try 1/2 c. oatmeal and 6 egg whites and maybe some brocolli if you are really sucking bad. What kind of protein are you using, you may want to stop using the prtein powders some of them can make you hold a little water, but it just depends on the person. GOOD LUCK
