Congrats, had to pull for him since I'm a Florida boy myself :D

I'm sure many will disagree with the decision though.

YEAAAAHHH! I had a final exam during the ceremony but I told my friend to text message me who won and I yelled it out during the exam and everyone was like hell yeah, even the TA's watching for cheating and stuff lol.

As for the whole decade of NFL busts, pretty much agree with ya there. I think Charles Woodsen was the best one in the past 10 years, Carson Palmer is alright but his team isn't doing ****. Bush is overrated so far. Looks like Barry Sanders FTW, and that was almost 20 years ago, lol.

If I were starting a franchise there are only 2 QB's currently in the NFL I would take or rate higher than Palmer. Those 2 QB's are Brady and Manning. I'm not necessarily a hardcore football fanatic, but more so a deep appreciation for the game as a whole.

X2, Palmer is the 3rd best QB in the NFL, and he's not too far behind the top 2 you mentioned. There are a few reasons his team isn't having a great year, the running game being one of them (or lack thereof). They've also had O-line problems.

As for the Timmy, I see a lot of people were sippin on that Haterade lately :p

I think it was the right decision.
He has accomplished things this season that no one has ever before.

The games that were lost, were not Tebows fault...go back and look at his stats during those games. The lost were due to a VERY Young defense.

Tim Tebow has more rushing touchdowns in the SEC than ANY OTHER PLAYER.

If you take it that way, but for those of us who are in continuing search of spirituality and don't align with a standard group, it is annoying that everyone seemed to leave the message that religion is a prerequisite for a successful person/football player. If free will is our gift then football skills are your own doing.

It annoys me when guys use "god" to get attention. But we are all blessed in different ways and yes, some people are naturally better at sports than others. God makes us, so therefore He gives us that natural ability.

His name is Troy's Myth, as anyone could plainly see what happened when O$U went up against some real competition in last years NC game. He folded like a lawnchair under pressure. The Heisman today is just whoever ESPN decides should win it. The voting system is flawed as people in Florida put Tebow at #1 and felt McFadden completely off the ballot. College football today is a total mess but it's still the best sport to watch and complain about, lol.

If it's what he truly believes then no, not at all. I don't think its anyone's place to say what someone believes. And at the same time I don't think he's BSing either, its obvious from his behavior what he truly believes.

Sorry, I missed this earlier, but I laugh at those people that say that ****; sorry Sammy, but I just don't quite see why people feel the need to preach and **** (I don't think you do and I'm VERY thankful for that!). Especially with some of those guys I'm sure are not even to remotely close to their god or church, but they like to praise it up. For example, some ghetto people and white trash mostly tend to praise up god then start swearing in the same breath, give me a break. I find that religion is a fast food restaurant for most people and they just want to believe when they're about to die or something really bad happens or whatever, you get the picture. A nation of fake-ass people we've raised and it's a shame becuase even I experience that on a personal level with most people with whom I interact and it drives me ****ing crazy. That is all.

Sorry for the rant.

Mcfadden isn't even the best back on his own team!!! No really. Check Felix Jones' avg. per carry. 9.1 as opposed to 5.7. Looks like the same coach that ran off the 2005 Gatorade player of the year(Mitch Mustain) should have given Mr. Jones the majority of carries and maybe Arkansas wouldn't have lost 4 games. Oh, and 14 fumbles....ugh Tebow 0 fumbles. Oh, and the 22 rushes for 61 yards against Florida International the 111th ranked D-1A rush D. At least Tebow is the best at his position on his own team.

It's amazing when Arkansas went for 2 against LSU, he wasn't even in the game. I can't imagine Hawaii pulling Brennan, or Florida pulling Tebow, or UCF pulling Smith in that situation. It's probably because Felix Jones is better so there were no worries. Hard to be called the best player in the country when you're the 2nd best in your own backfield.lol
Oh, and the award has to do with college football, not how they'll do in the NoFunLeague.

I saw Jones but he's not quite the leader that Run DMC is. Tebow sucks that's all, don't hate becuase he's a giant homo. 22 rushes for 61 yards is terrible, IMO, especially against FIU, so I don't know why you're bragging. Run DMC: 208 yards (if I remember correctly) on LSU who had not allowed a single 100 yard rusher; LSU is just a little better than FIU if I remember correctly.

The 61 rushes for 61 yards he is reffering to is your almighty "Run DMC".
And it was actually 19 rushes for 61 yards.

Florida does not even play FIU.
Why is Tebow a homo...because he set records that some of the greatest backs in the history of college football failed to set.

1. Tebow sucks? The highest rating of any QB to EVER win the Heisman.
2. 22 rushes for 61 yards was Mcfadden-read the post again
3. Felix(not quite the leader that Run DMC is) Jones averaged 9.1 yards per carry, Mcfadden 5.7. Mcfadden must of had something on coach Nutt to get so many more carries. Mcfadden wasn't even the best back on his own team. That's a 3.4 yard per carry difference.
4. Tebow did something that has NEVER been done in the history of Division 1-A football. Lots of guys have rushed for 1700 yards.
5. Tebow's not a giant homo, you're simply projecting.
