Im intrested in using some olympic lifts in my football program to improve my power, but im confused when people say power cleans do they mean cleaning the weight up into a squat position or when you clean the weight up but dont squat?? which technique is better for strength/power & football?

power clean = clean with high catch, no squat
full clean = squat catch
both are good for generating strength/power; the power clean is easier to learn though

no! keep rows...but do power cleans as well, if i were you id learn full cleans first though, ive eben told its a lot harder to break the habit if you learn them without catching in a squat, so if you ever want to do full ones you ownt be abel to if you first learn power...
but i ahve heard powers are better for football, since you usualyl arnt dippign into a full squat when laying someone out..

My O-lifting coach taught me power cleans first.

i did read on http://www.geocities.com/elitemadcow1/table_of_contents_thread.htm that you can subsitute powercleans for rows?
so if i keep the rows and do power cleans as well should i do them 5*5 or 3*5 3*3??
