I've been really struggling with doing full squats with the barbell. Tonight I tried it without the pad and using a small lift under my heels and managed to do about 5-6 ATG in the first two sets and 4 in the third set. I did a few more in each set but not as low. This is still without any weight on the oly BB so it is only 45 lbs but I am very pleased. I read somewhere that it is harder for people with longer limbs to do squats and bench press. I'm not sure if it is true, but I've sure had a heck of a time getting this far.
