Ok -- here we go again.

I abandoned the diet because my doctor told me I HAD to eat carbs and gain a ton of weight (20 lbs at least) after suffering from a major blood clot here very recently.'

Well I am now back in the gym -- My abs are smothered with this gross layer of....FAT! ACK! oh well, at least I am healthy again right? My arms are tiny and I have lost 35+% in almost all lifts. So I have some work to do.

I am not going to log EVERYTHING becuase I am going to be busy here, but I will do my best -- I took pictures today, I'll get them up and you can be sad for my body, keep in mind I had a serious life threatening illness recently ahaha :)

I don't have weight or BF levels but I will get weight tonight and I'll go from there.

Ok -- Diet

65/35/5

I am not counting veggies at all in my diet -- I am going to eat as many and eat them as often as I can -- I suspect I'll eat 8-10 servings daily, all lettuce, broc. some cauliflower, cucumber, other cruciferous goodies.

I will be having observing and tweaking my use of art. sweetners -- I only use 0 cal crystal light as "granulated" and the rest will be liquids (like torani or davinci) and some of those pellets (they're great and very small filler).

The basic diet will be eggs -- plain and simple, they're great macros and are easy to cook and I love them.

Workout:

45-60 minutes medium walking pace around my city first thing in the morning fasted with a cup of coffee.

5 or 6 day split in the gym:

Day 1: Chest/abs
Day 2: Back or Shoulders/abs
Day 3: (What was not done day 2)
Day 4: Rest or cardio or Arms/abs
Day 5: Arms (if not done day 4) or Rest/abs
Day 6: Legs

Wish me luck!

There was a guy on bodyrecomp who did a CKD with only eggs (he was vegetarian). It worked out well, iirc.

I don't think I could do that. Eggs are great and all, but I have to ask... "Where's the beef!?"

Ah that's true -- I love beef...though not steak so much.

I could agree with that. I make a concious decision not to buy expensive steaks, just to keep myself from getting too attached to them. When I buy my own food, it's either the cheapest steaks/roasts (which aren't good, usually) or ground beef. Ground beef is the ****, no doubt about it. Brown some in a skillet, fry some onions in the grease, eat it out of the pan, easy clean up too (don't have a dishwasher).

I just recently learned how to use a crockpot, so hopefully I can make something useful out of that too.

If you wait and look for the grassfed beef in the clearance section of the butcher -- than ground beef is not only delicious, dirt cheap, but HEALTHY!

Do you take Cayenne Pepper? That would probably prevent the blood clot, also Yoga, Deep Tissue Massages, Ice Baths/Contrast showers.

I recommend Organic CP, because it's a hell of alot more potent than store bought stuff.

Take a Garlic Enema once a week. Also try raw onions.

My wife had serious blood clots a couple years ago - looked like she was about to die the first night in the hospital, so I know how serious those things can be. Good luck OP - you'll have those abs back in no time!
