Well, abck in march i was at the peak of my lifting, i squatted 350x3 and could clean 185 for multiple sets of 1...then i hurt my back, and it all went downhill, well this sumemr i got really lazy and didnt workout much at all
now today i benched 225 and cleaned 185, both personal records, so im really happy...
tomorrow i need to max squat and then DL, and then im starting my new program next week...
hopefully someday i'll be able to record my clean on video, i get ocmplements all the time at my school gym for my form, and i didnt even use much power on the 185,which makes me htink in a month of training ill probably be able to hit 205

they were parallel belive it or not, and once i did that i tried to start going low on ATGs i would do 5x275 hten 3-5x315 and thats how i hurt myself...didnt have proper form on the ATGs and tried to learn on high weights...
so yeah sucks i had my physical today and doctor says no more lifting until i go to physical therapy for my back

Yeah dude I know how you feel, I did ATG all the time last year and tried switching to just going to parallel, and when i went back to ATG i had to use really light weight just to gain my flexibility back.
Do any of you guys have weightlifting shoes? if you do do you have the problem of slipping because of the raised heels on the jerk?

yep, ATG's a whole other animal from parallel.
I have weightlifting shoes and I've never had a slipping problem on jerks, on jerks I don't think the heel hurts or helps, it's in the squat and the snatch/clean catch in the bottom that the heel really comes through.

was...was awesome, now it sucks becasue i just feel weak and pathetic...had a phyiscal on friday and my doctor told me im not allowed to do any lifting uuntil i go through physical therapy
so now im trying to bulk...my moms buying all this steak and potatoes and ****, im all ready to bulk. ive been waiting since football started for it to end and i could do my offseason training, and now i cant...so i can basically do benchpress, seated bicep curls, skull crushers, and stretch my baxck out...but once its all said and done i think itll help me alot having the back healed...think im going to cut down a little bit shed some fat since i cant do any qualitym ass builders liek squats or DL for a while
i mean obviously im only 17, i need to do this, i cant go the next 6 decades with a bad back...
