I am writing for my girlfriend who is frustrated with
the patterns of her current nutritional slump. She
gave me the results of her last fitness test and her
stats are as follows, she is 20 years old, 5'4",
145lbs and has a body fat index of %30. What is a good
goal for her as far as weight loss and how can she get
there? Also what is the total calories she should be
consuming each day? What types of foods are good to
eat that are low calorie, but will fill her up so she won't
be hungry again an hour after eating?

Thank you for your time!

I am not sure what your girlfriend is doing for exercise right now.
In order to get the body fat down...she needs to increase cardio workouts, along with doing strengthening. Doing high intensity interval training is great when you don't have an hour to kill at the gym for aerobics.

Diet should be small meals 6xday...consisting of a combination of proteins and complex carbs. Eating more frequently...small portions and keeping any carbs complex should keep the hunger at bay. The worse thing she can do is skip meals. That is the killer of all diets.
