they are probably about an inch to an inch and a half thick, and they are very heavy duty.

I think they are 3/4". Could be wrong but they definitely do the job.

Yeah. doesn't matter. I looked and it's 3/4's but we can both agree they do a great job.

Cliff note version: These mats are a deal, IF you live near a store where you can pick them up at. Otherwise, they apparently are not for sale through the web site to people in states without a store. Or so I was told via phone...
Full version: The company has no store in my state, but since the web site says free shipping on orders over $25 (until the 18th of next month) I thought that's fine. I tried to phone in the order rather than dealing with setting up an account on-line, etc. since I doubt I'd be buying much else from them in the future. The lady was very nice, but was told these stall mats are something that would have to be ordered from the nearest store since they're not available via the web site just yet. I found that odd since they're shown on the web site and you'd think they'd not even show them if they're not able to sell to anyone that pulls up the web site from any location. Apparently they just got the site's "store features" running as of last week and that has something to do with them having to be purchased from a actual store location and not via on-line. Again, I found it odd that the page with the mats even has a "Add to shopping List" option, but not really sure that's the same as an on-line "Shopping Cart", sooo so be it... The gal was nice enough to connect me to the nearest store to me (in another state) to see if the store manager would go ahead and place the order through them and then ship it. The guy I spoke with said he'd sell them at the deal price, but would not honor the web site's free shipping on orders over $25 deal. He said he'd check on the shipping costs (I was planning on buying 4 of these BTW) and get back to me this morning, but I've not heard back and I'm doubting given their weight that it's going to still be a good $ deal, but we'll see. IF he really calls back that is... Kind of a disappointment that they don't have a local store and/or would honor the web site's free shipping offer. Anyway, just thought I'd pass this info along to any others who don't live near a store.

Picked up 10 today...Didn't buy enough to cover the entire floor, but just enough to go under each piece of equipment. I was extremely impressed by the weight, thickness and quality of the mats. Youll easily pay double the amount of the sale price in most fittness equipment stores.
Thanx to the thread originator for the heads up.

AZ, and I'm told the nearest is Bakersfield (sp?) CA. So, I'm just guessing without doing a map search, but probably ~2-3 hundred miles away.
Props to the OP for the rest of you near a store.

I purchased two of these "Rubber Cow Stall Mats" from my local Blain's Farm and Fleet. http://www.farmandfleet.com/catalog/product.aspx?i=297882&h=090103005 They are also 4' x 6' x 3/4". OMG, I can't believe how heavy these things are. They must weigh over 100lbs each! They cost $39 a piece... no sale going on. My nearest Tractor Supply Company is about a 45 minute drive. The price of gas wouldn't make it any cheaper than what I found at Farm and Fleet.
