It is a hard call without a hands on.
I know that the 'home' leg presses that I've seen have left me underwhelmed.
The biggest problem is the back / foot plate. Because it is one piece of bent plate with no rail support, it is quite flexible and not REAL sturdy.
If you are a small guy who only leg presses about 10 total plates, it might be ok, but it REALLY moves around under your feet during hack squats.
Unless you have a well equipped home gym and are just looking for an additional toy, or have physical limitations, I would lean towards a good power cage with multi position bench and work on squats, deads, sld's, etc.. which will give you a better all over workout for the money.
