Hi all, let me start by saying I will be keeping a log on here so you can all observe/critcize/support me. I feel this log will benifit not only me but others on this forum too. Okay enough of my rambling, heres the score.

I have 3 aims
1) strip away fat to reveal all of my hard earned muscle
2) Maintain a good degree of muscularity
3) Get into or around contest condition to proove to myself that I can as I want to compete in the future.

Here is how I will approach my cutting diet

Week 1 180g carbs
Week 2 160g carbs
Week 3 140g carbs
Week 4 120g carbs
Week 5 100g carbs
Week 6 90g carbs

Protein will be constantly in the 200g-250g range
Moderate amounts of healthy fats will be consumed ED.

I will also be following a slightly modified Max-OT training program. (this is the way I like to train and have good results with)
Cardio will be done 2-4x each week.

I will update with pics, BF readings, measurements and brief overviews of each workout. I will also post my diet for the the day from time to time and comment on my emotional state. (I find cutting very hard, but who doesnt?? lol).

Heres the stats before I go.

Age:17
Weight: 185lb
BF:12-14%
Height: 5'10

(I will post more stats e.g. body measurements in the near future.)

I will update with day one later on in the day. I gotta get to be now as its 3.33am and I wanna get up before noon lol.

Stay Tuned Folks!

Okay, so far so good. Woke up this morning and threw down a protien shake consisting of whey isolate and micellar casin. Then I consumed 1/2 cup oats w/skimmed milk and headed out to the gym.

I decided to work legs today as my upper body is pretty much battered from last weeks workouts and it wouldnt be wise to overtrain whilst cutting! There was just one problem, I wanted to do cardio today to get rid of some of the gained water weight from lastnights "final cheat meal" lol. SOOO, instead of working my legs with low volume Max-OT sets I opted for a higher volume/ lighter weight session. Through this I aimed to stimulate my legs, but not thrash them to the point where cardio would overtrain them. (I dont usually do cardio on leg days BTW)
The workout consisted of the following.

Leg Press (1 warmup set) 209lb x20 then 12x 264lb 10x 254lb
Squats 110lb x15 x12 (rest pause at bottom and squeeze at top)
Ham Curls 88lb x8 x6
Donkey Raises 3x 15 reps of 150lb

My training partner (James) did roughly the same workout.

Then I threw in some cardio on the stepper for 20mins (interval training).
By the end of this my legs were pretty sore so I spent a good 20mins stretching before I left the gym.

My fitday totals for today are: 178g carbs 220g protien and 30g fat (not counting the cod liver oil I take)

I will update tomorow and include total measurements plus starting pics.

Stay Tuned.
