You sure you didn't get that out of The Onion??
"He found the women infected with toxoplasma spent more money on clothes and were consistently rated as more attractive. “We found they were more easy-going, more warm-hearted, had more friends and cared more about how they looked,” he said. “However, they were also less trustworthy and had more relationships with men.”
Um, sounds like Sex in the City to me ;)
By contrast, the infected men appeared to suffer from the “alley cat” effect: becoming less well groomed undesirable loners who were more willing to fight. They were more likely to be suspicious and jealous. “They tended to dislike following rules,” Flegr said."
Er, sounds like every male in my family and me to most part!!

What kind of pathetic BS is that? Is that actually a real newspaper that's distributed in the UK?? **rolleyes**
I've got sweet little kitties... and my personality isn't even slightly close to that description.

not sure where its from. someone sent it to me because i have a cat.
Toxoplasma is real - the symptoms this "paper" describes are probably not. 98% of people with toxoplasmosis do not have any symptoms and never realize they have the parasite. This rag is a tabloid and should not be considered legitimate. Kind of funny though.
I have to say I really like cats I just can't eat a whole one.

That is a classic. But dont be fooled by it though. Here is another example of a "news" article posted on the net as fact! It was published on the internet about a month ago. 2 weeks later, a host of a popular Sydney talk back radio station devoted about an hour to this "latest news" item.
It is obviously a fake yet because it's on a site called "FrontPageMag.com" the poor old bloke took it as truth and discussed it with all the outraged listeners. I have no idea how he could not have realised it was fake but I am sure he is not alone.
Since then ABC's Media Watch has made a complete fool of him by replaying it over and over and over. Poor bastard!
Don't always believe what you read especially on the internet.
