I swear ive read so many articles that fasted cardio is bad, then a bunch of others saying that cardio after lifting is bad, then that cardio at night is useless... well when the hell are you supposed to do it lol???
I mean if you are a pro-bodybuilder I can see how you would have all day to do it but what about everyone else who is at school/work all day?

Ive got either morning, or night... but I lift at night so that would make it after lifting.
Now I already wake up at 5 a.m as it is b/c I have to get to my morning class, if I were to have a protein meal before I would have to get up at least at 4:30 a.m..... that's a little too much, even at 5 a.m. im pushing it but still getting about 7 hours, Im not willing to go any earlier than that b/c I need my sleep too.

So basically I do light intesnity cardio everyday first thing in the morning (brisk walking/light jogging) for 50 minutes and 10-15 minutes after lifting. I might try to get one or two 15 minute walks in throughout the day if I can too. My main concern is the morning cardio though.

Morning cardio is fine. I would suggest mixing it up, occasionally doing 30-40 minutes empty stomach couple times a week, then perhaps once or twice do some sprinting for 15 minutes or so.

Bottom line is cardio will help either way, however, the argument is when do you get the best results or prevent the most muscle breakdown. From the research I see, I would personally not do cardio after weights, as that's when I want to get my post workout recovery supplementation/nutrition. I would rather do it first thing on in the morning, or if in the evening about 3 hours after eating, so as not use glucose for energy, but fat. If muscle breakdown is a concern, then glutamine/bcaa's/possibly a scoop of whey protein (isolate) would be recommended.

Of course, for my recommendation, there will be ten people disagreeing, but try different things and see what works for YOU!
