I might get some criticism for saying so but honestly I think the cheap Wal Mart stuff tastes the best. I've tried a lot of different protein companies and flavors but Body Fortress's Cookies and Creme flavor protein tastes better than anything else including Optimum Nutrition's chocolate and vanilla (both of which I've tried). Body Fortress's vanilla and chocolate aren't too great but so far I haven't tasted anything better or easier to drink than the Cookies and Creme!

BSN's Syntha 6 chocolate peanut butter. i just had my first scoop a couple minutes ago and god damn! it is awesome but i thought that it was clumping a tiny bit at first cause i felt like these tiny little bits in my mouth about the size of the tip on a pen but i realized the were tiny little peanut buttery chranchable particles! it'll have you craving more before you can say "It's magically delicious!" oh p.s. i mixed it with Silk soymilk. i think it adds to the flavor :)

I would buy it instead if it weren't for the fact that I still think ON Whey has the better functional properties.

I've always liked Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey Fruit Punch. I prepare it ahead of time so I can put it in the fridge or freezer and get it really cold...delicious. I just got the Intr-Pro Whey Isolate protein powder mix in (strawberries and cream flavor) and it really is great tasting!! I remember the protein powders I used to use a couple decades ago (yes, decades with an 's' at the end...) and I must say they have gotten mucho better! If people want to continue to see specials put up like the 2lb/9.99, they have to spread the word. The only way to encourage specials like this, is strong support. So if you REALLY want to see things like this pop up once a quarter, then spread the word. I can assure you, after having ran 1000's of specials with my old business, whatever had the best support, got repeated.

So go tell everyone you know, post on other boards and when the sale goes on, support it. That's what creates new specials moving forward.

Hey guys,

I lifting in order to improve and training for football. Right now I'm 243 and I want to get a bit bigger before I start cutting. I am going off the rule 1 gram protein per body weight. So I'm trying to get at least 200 grams from supplements. Right now I'm taking GNC RTD (Ready To Drink) 50 (grams) Grand Slam. I don't mind the taste, however its whey concreted so it has a lower BV than Whey ISO. People are suggesting I switch to Powder, because its cheaper and the body utilizes Whey Isolated protein better.

Now here comes the problem. I have a Nut and Seafood allergy that prevents me from having any kind of fish oils or somethings that into contact with nuts. I went into GNC and tried Optimal Nutrition 100% whey and had a bad taste in my mouth and notice that my throat started to swell a little. After that i get a build up of flem. I think that cause because of my body negative reaction to the supplement.

I looked at the ingredients and there no sign of nuts or fish, so I don't what exactly it could be. So I'm trying to find a protein powder that works, with out by them all in the process. If anybody knows a protein supplement or as any feedback please drop your thoughts...

I just received samples of Myofusion from Gaspari. They only sent me Double Chocolate so I can't review the vanilla or strawberry. (yet!) All I can say is WOW! I mixed one packet with 10 oz. of 2% milk and it was great. I shook it for 20 seconds in a Blender Bottle (also great!) and there were no lumps, clumps or floaties. There was no hint of chemical aftertaste and the overall taste reminded me a lot of Ovaltine. Not quite like chocolate milk, but I thought it was some of the best I have tasted.

Has anyone here heard of or tried Muscle Tech's Mass-Tech?

I normally use Muscle Milk, have been for a good 2 almost 3 years now. But I came across this product and wanted to know if I could replace Muscle Milk with Mass-Tech.

One thing I've loved about Muscle Milk is that it has always kept me lean and I'm hoping that this won't bloat the hell out of me. I wanna grow and keep lean mass, not look like a human water balloon.

What do you guys think?

I'm a big fan of BSN Lean Dessert (except vanilla, I didn't like it, it was ok) I've tried chocolate coconut candy bar (my fav), banana cream pudding, fresh cinnamon roll (awesome with natural apple juice! It's like apple crisp) and I LOVE syntha-6 mochaccino! That's all I've tried. I want to get more syntha-6, I'm thinking strawberry and chocolate mint.

allergies are tough to get around,so I suggest you go & see a Doctor (ask first if he/she does allergy testing) & get a full allergy test done.It could be something to do with a something minor that you just don't know about it.
For example: I get bloated &/or have reflux from red dye,barley,yeast,the list goes on,but never really knew that was the case,coz I just dismissed it as eating too fast or not chewing my food etc. I went to have an allergy test done & found out what was bad for me & change my diet accordingly.Worked a treat.
As for finding a protein for you,maybe print off some of the ones that you'd like,go & have the allergy test done & discuss with him/her if it's ok for you to take,but if you get the all clear,then I would still just be cautious & start with a tiny dose to see what effects you have,then build it up.

The price is up to 80$ for 10 pounds, which now-a-days is actually reasonable. You might wanna look into Scivation Whey or Xtreme Formulations Whey as they are both cheaper yet approved me most anyone on these boards / anyone I know.

I like rocky road. It's better than double rich chocolate imo. Tropical punch is also really good. cookies and cream is decent with water if you use 8-9floz(any more than 10 and it'll taste gross and watered down). Cookies and cream tastes the best with milk though. Just a tip: stay far away from banana. It has a chemical-y taste. blech

What to look for in a protein powder, in order of importance: Protein vs carbs, fat, Cholestrol, sodium. Superior powders brand name not important will be their isolated whey. An isolated whey should read as fallows: 0g cholestrol, 0-1g fat, 0-2g carbs, 0g sugar 50g protein per serving of 2 scoops. 30-40 servings per container depending on it's size. isolates are best taken upon waking and post workout. Albumin or casine at bedtime. If you are not taking in 200g - 500g of protein depending on your lean mass weight* 365 days year after year, you are just kidding yourself!

Avoid these brands for they suck all the way around and are just marketed heavily.

100% Whey Protein by Optimum Nutrition is the best protein that i have used so far. I have used Horleys Awesome Mass and the chocolate flavour is great, but this French Vanilla Creme is great. Yeah it can be very strong in taste if you have too much, and so it is great to mix with milo or even Banana, egg and honey. I have personally chosen to order more of it, but in chocolate as i'm up for a change. I really suggest trying it out, as the protein content in it is great and the taste is suburb.
