There are two that Ive had that had a very good taste. The first was muscle milk Vanilla cream. If you can get by the double digit grams of fat thats my top suggestion taste wise.
The second best was vanilla by Probolic SR. Its a 12 hr release protein with a surprisingly good taste

I don't know if anyone else has heard of this, but I found it at a GNC ina atown abotu an hour and a half away from where I live and it is awesome! The bad thing is that the local GNC's don't carry it and I talked to the company and that GNC 1.5 hours away was the closest retailer they had for it.

Anyway it is Diet Reolution Maximum Protein - Delicious Chocolate flavor from Southern Pharmaceuticals. They bost on the front "World's best tasting Protein, Guaranteed".

I currently use Muscle milk as my favorite tasting, but when I cut down on fat I have to drink whatever YUCKY stuff I can manage to swallow. Isopure Chocolate is decent for low fat and low carb with 40g or protein.

I have tried a lot of protein powders over the years. I thought ON all flavors were a B grade, but Syntha 6 was awesome...minus the assplosions i have afterwards. Tasteswise Syntha 6 and Muscle Milk are the best tasting. the worst has to be HDT Banana Cream Pie, and Eas simply whey were the by far worst.

Vanilla Syntha-6 is the best vanilla protein shake I've ever tried. I mix 6 ounces of cold water with 5 blocks of ice, blend it together in a blender and throw in 2 scoops of vanilla syntha-6. Taste just like vanilla milkshake.

Meanwhile, I just got Dymatize's Cafe Mocha...alright but I was expecting a little more. I read rave reviews about it on another forum, seemed to be everyone's preference. I definitely prefer their Butter Cream Toffee over it.

I have yet to try the muscle milk powders( its my next purchase) but the ready to drink ones of chocolate were pretty fantastic. I also recently had synta6 because some came with my NO explode, and they we're decent, but in my opinion not worth the money.

I've ordered through bb.com before and sometimes I pay customs, sometimes not. It's really strange. Usually about $10 more though when I do, nothing too major. I've never had any issues with it not getting through to Canada though, just takes a little while longer.

I wouldn't get your hopes up. I have a 5 lb tub and it's been at 5 lbs now for a while... my only advice would be to buy another stronger fruit flavor and do some mixing. I wasn't impressed with this one either.

The only two I like out of their line is Butter Cream Toffee (which I love) and chocolate mint (which is very good as well).

Here's a few that taste better.

ON whey- Chocolate

RTD - natures best chocolate smoothie.

Pretty much any RTD chocolate is better except Xyience.

with so much debate ... i took it upon myself to take my own ON vs. Dymatize Elite "challenge." i got the double rich chocolate ON, and Dymatize rich chocolate.

as far as being soluble in water ... both are great - i spend a sh!t load of time behind a desk so i make my shakes into water bottles with computer paper funnels! so ... ease of mixing is important and i feel like each got a 5 out of 5 on that.

the downside to the solubilty is that they both taste extremely deluted - so you almost HAVE to add some milk - or drink down most of the water before you throw in the scoops (i usually add three scoops to slightly more than a third of a bottle of water) - but i guess that could be a good thing too - a light flavor means you dont get sick of a heavy taste it too quickly.

just flavor in general is pretty good - i like the flavor of both, but Dymatize has an ever so slight "chalkiness" when compared to ON. but its still really good. i dont know where people get the notion that its SUPER DELICIOUS and all that ish - it still has nothing on a shake from Jack in the Box - but they are good FOR WHAT THEY ARE.

price - dymatize is SLIGHTLY cheaper - but i'd pay the extra few cents to avoid the "chalk" next time.

protein, calores, carbs - are all in the same ballpark

as far as comparison to muscle milk ((which i KNOW someone will say ONCE AGAIN that its an MRP)) it doesnt compare. muscle milk is by far much better tasting - and is listed in the PROTEIN section of this website - so to me, its still a protein - just consider your goals vs. the calories before you snatch it up. and as far as price - compared to ON or Dymatize - muscle milk just isnt worth it spending so much!

I recently bought Muscle Milk Vanilla Creme (Natural) - tastes like poop. Nothing like the RTD Vanilla Creme. I'll get it down, but it's not good. I only got it because I was losing the weight I had put on in prior months and it had the least amount of scoops to drink for the most amount of calories. It also is very, very thick......Plus.....Cytogainer gave me more gas than I would like.

Nothing beats Muscle Milk Vanilla Creme RTD though. So yummy.

I just bought PVL's Eggnog flavour. You'd think that if you don't mix it with milk it would taste like @$$, but that's definitely not the case.

The taste isn't as rich if you mix it with water, but it's still raelly good.

I didn't know that BB.com pricematches. It doesn't say so in their store. I looked at their Help Section. It doesn't even mention a low price guarantee. Does this mean you have to call in your order and give them the link where you can get the cheaper price? Substance WPI Vanilla and Chocolate both taste awesome, even in water which is a big plus.

Ergopharm GF-Pro Vanilla and Chocolate also taste good in water, too. You need a hand-blender to eliminate clumps completely, though.

XF UP Chocolate almost has a peanut-buttery taste, IMO. Another great-tasting protein in water.

Syntrax Essence Vanilla's one of my favourites as well.

Bottomline is all of the above are great in water but adding skim milk wouldn't kill ya either.

Syntha 6 has a high quality blend, so you could use it as an MRP...you could use it before bed if your macros allow it. I would pick up a 5lb jug of whey though. Just got my Black Star Labs strawberry flavor Whey Supremacy today, and I have to say it tastes even better than I expected. It could pass for a slightly gritty Nestle Quik :D. Just got my Black Star Labs strawberry flavor Whey Supremacy today, and I have to say it tastes even better than I expected. It could pass for a slightly gritty Nestle Quik :D. It does have the distinct odor of whey, but the flavor is something else entirely. I think I'll be placing an order, this time for a whole lot more!

I also got the watermelon flavor, but have not had the opportunity to try that yet. Looking forward to it, if it is anywhere near as good as the strawberry is...

WOW, so i finally did the deed and have beena loyan Chocolate ON user for 2 years now... i finally bought dymatize chocolate flavor and its AWESOME! I defo will be buying again and switching over.. gonna try the chocomint next and see how it compares. MMM Good. In a blender tastes WAY better Than ON, shaking up.. im kinda still on the fence... but its freaking awesome..

I like the ON Gold strawberry protein. It is probably the best i have ever tried. It mixes well and tastes awesome and has a big dose of protein.
Nitro-Tec Hardcore by muscle tec is my least favorite because it does not mix well at all and turns into pudding.

By far, the best tasting protein I've ever tasted is Integrated Supplements' Whey Isolate. So far, I've tried the Vanilla, Chocolate, and the Coffee Ice Cream flavors. They're all delicious. I was attracted to the label for it's ingredient's list, but then the flavor won me over. A sales rep was doing a promo in down town Chicago and I got to sample it first. I had to buy a bottle after that. It mixes really well, has a very rich and non-artificial taste to it (no artificial sweeteners!) It's good in water, but when mixed with milk, it literally tastes like a real milk shake!

Whey Gourmet does make good flavors i have to agree and i do enjoy the thinkness of em in a blender with ice and milk.. the Pb flavor they have is good, but they also happen to make a new on that had a smoother more PB tatste anyone member the name of that one? The have discontunied it and im dissapointed its the first one i really liked.

I've tried Muscle Milk, ON 100% Whey, Nitrotech, and Oryx... I'd have to vote for the Oryx as the best tasting, and it appears to be a quality product. I haven't tried the ProNOS yet, though.

For why proteins, I probably tried a good 25-30 different brands but I've been sticking with Champion Nutrition for the last 4 years or so. I occasionally will try some other stuff too but they taste great, not too sweet and no fake sweetener taste like Muscle Milk and most other brands.

I got some Optimum Nutrition creamy vanilla casein protein last year and I'm hooked on it. It is the best protein that I have ever tasted. Even with water it turns into a thick liquid and I don't waste any by using a shaker as it doesn't tend to clump much.

I still have like 10-15 pounds of Champion Nutrition whey protein left but as soon as its time to reorder, I'm gonna get half of the whey from CN and the other half from ON. The way the casein one tastes I'm hoping that their whey protein will taste as good..

havn't had the extreme milk chocolate but i've heard great things, i use the double rich chocolate and find it to be exactly like a glass of chocolate milk, depending on how much milk u use it can taste like u didn't put enough chocolate syrup in it though, but i enjoy it alot, curious to try to milk chocolate flavor though.
