Stumbled across this site and diet plan by accident so here's my journal. :D

Started Keto last thursday, off to a bad start because I got hammered drunk that night! Anyway, after 2 days of following the diet and no signs of Ketosis on the Ketostix, I decided to have a carb up day on Sunday consisting of a small thin pizza! No big deal and made a sensible and conscious decision to get back on board.

To my suprose I woke up on Monday and registered a small trace on the Ketostix followed by heavier readings later on that night. This was a major boost for me and it helped me to persevere with the diet.

2 days in Ketosis and I feel superb! No hunger pangs and definately no carb cravings! The usual headaches and a slight dip in workout performance were the only negatives so far....

My stats:-

Height 5 9"
Weight 174lbs
Lean Mass 151lbs
Fat Mass 23lbs
Body Fat% 13.1% (not sure if this is right as I look more like 18-20 around the midsection!! :()

Basically i'm aiming to get as shredded as possible and I was wondering if theres any harm in doing cardio (running 10k+)?

Now i'm struggling to consume enough calories! Finding more foods to up fat and protein as i'm too full to eat!

Oh I don't get the bad breath thing, just that distinctive feeling/taste.

I like to get full fat whipped cream cheese and get about 4 tbsp and put a tiny bit of splenda and cinnamon and mix it up and eat it with a spoon.

It's almost ice cream like, (tastes like cheesecake) and it has 120 calories (2 grams Protein, 12 grams fat)

I eat that at night if I haven't hit my numbers for the day. I have an especially hard time hitting my fat numbers, so this helps.

I was in a small shop looking for cheese that doesn't contain milk. Out of 7 different varieties all were made with milk!

Thanks for the tip Tootella, I find myself with a tablespoon and a bottle of flaxseed oil trying to make the numbers at the end of a night! Anything thats like cheesecake/ice cream has gotta be worth a try!

Ok so i'm now down to 167.2 lbs, not sure how much is water or fat but i've certainly not lost any size/muscle. I look more pumped than ever before!

I love this diet. :D

It's also really good with Ghiardelli cocoa powder and Splenda, it tastes like eating icing out of the container...
There's only so much flax oil off of the spoon I can take, ya know? ;)
Glad you're liking the keto diet and good luck with your goals!

Thanks Mo, i'll try that too. Might need to add a couple of tablespoons of flax oil for that distinctive flavour! :D

I decided to make Sunday my carb up day and I opted for a nasty cheat meal consisting of a spicy pepperoni pizza!

Back to the diet today and it's taken close to 20 hours to get back into Ketosis. Decided to let it run 12 days before another carb fest, see what happens.

Today i've only consumed 1500 kcals, will this affect my fat loss or is it fine to do so? My macros have worked out perfect, 65 30 5.
