i have been training very solidly for about a year now and i have made some great gains. i would like to compete next year but the bigger i get i seem to be developing puffy nipples. it is quite annoying and i am worried it will set me back if i decide to compete. do any natural bbers have this problem. i really need some advice... when i go swimming my nipples harden up and my chest looks 100times better. would this haveanything to do with excess bodyfat... i have abs and my waist is around 32.5inches with a 41inch chest but im not sure of my bodyfat canculation. when i cut down will the puffyness go away at all???

The puffiness often goes down when cutting. The reason is "puffy nipples" often are the result of both glandular material and fat mixed together, and cutting can often reduce a significant portion of that fat.

I've seen many before/after photos and cases in which the individual drastically reduces the puffiness after cutting to a low body fat percentage.

Sounds like you didn't have them before so it's likely they're mostly due to the excess b.f. you've gained by getting bigger. Which also means it's likely they'll disappear during cutting. I would just start dieting and see how it goes. You don't have to make the 100% decision to compete until the registration is due ;)

Just from my personal experience...I know when my BF% gets a too high...I mainly put fat on in my chest and lower abs....makes it look like my nipples are puffy. When I cut down...it goes right away....leading me to know that it is just a matter of fat...and getting leaner....see what happens when you cut down.

yeah it will def go away with a cut...not only because of the fat leaving but in the case of hypergonadism you'll find your test will definitely go down especially deep in a cut and estrogen will follow

not to sound stupid but im 163 pounds now.
should i cut down now before the fatty tissue gets too big or should i keep bulking right put to around 170. would there be any risk of keeping that puffyness.
i dont have a camera on hand at the momment but im going to get photos taken with a borrowed camera in about 2 weeks from today.

Well, any more fat you gain now will still have to be lost, meaning a longer diet and more possible muscle loss. If you already have puffyness I'd start dieting a bit now or a.s.a.p. That way you can go very slow and have plenty of screw-up weeks available to you.

How tall are you? 32.5" waist isn't that big unless you're really short.

But when i get down to contest shape they stay that way for the most part just not fatty like.. hard to describe if u look at the pics i've put on here look at the dieted pics and the bulked and u can see.

i want to get to a solid 165 in about a year and if i cut i would be in great condition about 71- 70kg so hopefully when i do eventually cut down i wont have any issues in this comp...
