The little bone in the back, thats inbetween both shoulders gets hurt terribly when i do squats! is there some kind of pad thats made for this? or should i just use a cushion of some kind?

Also what i mean is the bar presses down on the bone which causes extreme pain...

you'll have to search for the so called "soft spot" if you asked a veteran squatter at your gym he could probably show you as it differs a bit from person to person...and yes they do make pads for squatting

I got that problem...i have big traps so i don't get why it hurts so much, using the bar only i can get like 250 7 times before my pain barrier breaks, but using the pad (aka tampon) i can get 315 x7 i don't know hat i'm missing. But i figure as long as i overload my legs its ok to be a pussy and use the bad
