I will be doing a Log following my progress from today (7/11/05) to the end of december (12/31/05).

GOAL

- Reach 200 lbs.
- Increase in size
- Overall health

CURRENT STATS

Age: 19
Height: 6'3"
BF%: 8.5
Weight: 181 (this is after losing 5 lbs in water weight to start fresh)

Chest: 37.5'
Arms: 15' 1/2"
Thighs: 18'
Calfs: 15'

CURRENT SUPPLEMENTS

- Mega Men Multivitamin
- Fish Oil Caps
- Joint Formula
- ON 100% Whey
- CytoSport Cytogainer (used on days i dont get enough calories)
- Flax Seed Powder
- Aloe Vera Juice
- BCAA Bulk Powder

FUTURE SUPPLEMENTS AND STACKS

- Green Bulge by Controlled Labs (will be recieving this in 3-4 weeks and will run as soon as I recieve it- look forward to the review and log)

- High Power CEE ( i will be running this after im done with Green Bulge till Dec.)

TRAINING

- DC Training
- I will be following DC strictly till Dec.- doing a split of mon, wed, fri- as recommended

DAILY FOOD INTAKE

- I will be consuming around 4000-5000 Calories a day- i will be eating between 400 g of protien, 300 g carbs, 100 g fat.
- I will be using Cytogainer as an extra boost of calories on some days
- I will be consuming food every 1-2 hours

Please Note: I will not be posting my diet to much but it will be a clean bulk

macros are not adding up to 4k cals bro inless u are taking in about 100gs of fat, best of luck with it man nice to see other clean bulkers and your goals are about the same as mine

Yea i might be consuming non- clean bulking foods to reach my goal of 4000 cals but hey its a goal so i will try to reach it......:)

If you want to use DC training/diet method you should aim for AT LEAST 2g/bw of protein daily, that means for you 360g of protein.

Did my first day of DC Training and it was intense. I dont have a training partner this summer so pushing myself can be difficult but with DC all the motivation is their. Once u start the workout, u feel like pushing urself to the extreme.

Today i did:

Incline Dumbell Press: 4 Warmup Sets- (reps) 12,10,8,4 Extreme Sets- (reps) 8,4,2------------followed by extreme stretching

Arnold Press (same as above)

Dips (same as above)

Pulldowns (same as above)

Deadlifts (same as above)

I have never had this intense of a workout in probably the last 6 months. I know for sure i have never sweated this bad while pushing out sets- its not because i dont push myself its because i just dont sweat much- so basically im telling u the workout was intense and im dead tired.

Post Workout Shake

- 2 scoops On 100% Whey
- 8oz 2% Milk
- 1-2 Ice Cubes
- Banana
- Strawberries (sometimes)
- L- Glutamine 5g
- Flax Seed Powder
- BCAA Powder

I was thinking of Mega Dosing BCAAs when i do my ErgoMax cycle but thats a good deal away to save up $$ :)

That meal plan is the basics of most of my days with added food in each meal or in between it matters if im at work or playing outside.

Today was different in that i had chimichanga for lunch and for dinner i had take out chinese food- 3 plates and still counting :P

Aloe Vera brings a bitter/sour tang taste to my protien shakes that actually makes them less sweet but taste still as good.

Yea I will be doing before and after pics. My digital camera is in Mexico with my bro- but i have some pics of me just in general i could post with my shirt off and shorts that i might post as my before if i dont get the camera back in time.


Also Commonpremier21- I am only 3-4 warmup sets with the first excersise then im doing maybe 1 set of warmup for the rest- but pretty much after the first set and stretch ur body parts that u are working are pretty stretched and warmuped.

Today's Recovery

I am quite sore in my back- my whole back. After doing DC Training i came home and was shoveling, wheel barreling, picking up, and tossing cement slabs and tile that weighed about 50-200lbs a piece for about 2 hours.

I wasnt to stoked in doing this because it was like doing deadlifts all day. So i rewarded myself and slept in for an extra 2 hours. I will be doing numerous stretches to get ready for another intense back/chest/shoulder/tris workout on friday.

Cant wait till tomorrow for my DC bi/legs workout- i know this will be the most intense.

Today's Diet

Meal 1
4 Whole Eggs w/ whole potato
1 cup Pineapple

Meal 2
My PWO Shake even tho im not working out today it tastes to good.

Meal 3
Hamburger
Apple

Meal 4
Protien Bar

Meal 5
Chicken
Rice

DC Training Day 2

Biceps Preacher Curls

Forearms Barbell Rolls

Calves Seated Calf Raises

Hamstrings Leg Curls

Quads Squats

I will be working out in about 30 mins so ill post results afterwards.

Weight: 184 and 13 ounces (up 3 lbs and 13 ounces from Monday)

BF%: 8.5 (this is a good sign letting me know that im gaining muscle mass and not fat

Also Im getting into the full swing of working out since my shoulder and forearm injury 4 months that kept me from really pushing myself. The doctor gave me the "ok" to hit the gym hard once again- so thats my goal hit the gym as hard as I can till it flares back up or i cant lift again. :)

My friend Red joined in today in my DC training- both are legs are completely shot as well as forearms and biceps

I would have to say the concept of "extreme stretching" should be incorporated into everyones workout no matter if ur just training or DC Training.

Stretching i know from personal experience is overlooked but is key for essential growth and prevention injury.

That sounds like me bro. Im kind of on a binge of partying right now since its summer so drinking it while im taking it wont do me any good. So im thinking after august once school starts

I have got drunk one time in life, and that was when I was 18 yrs old. I just have never liked to drink or smoke. So I have not drank any alcohol whatsoever in 6 yrs!

Sorry about cluttering your log, but looking at my planned cycle, would you add or change anything? And also, have you thought about how you are going to run your cycle? Again, I apologize for using your log space. And speaking of school, I've got 4 1/2 weeks till that begins, and all hell will break lose. I'll be so damn busy, I won't be able to keep a log between going to school full-time and working 15-20 hours a week. All always make time for workouts early in the morning, but once school starts my diet will take a little hit. All signs are pointing to, begin the cycle Friday!lol.

The soreness continues today from yesterday's workout. I will be continuing to stretch throughtout the day.

I slept an extra 2-3 hours today because i was so tired i could barely move. This suxs in the fact that my body needed protien earlier then i wanted to get up to do so.

But anyways ill report results w/ weight tomorrow.

Arnold press is great one that I do weekly. Looks like you have alot of supps. that you take too. And your a healthy bb, I thought we were a lost breed!

Oh, your chest/back measurement is on the small side which I'm sure your aware of. And I'm sure that's one of the reasons your doing a clean bulk. Dips supersetted with neck bech presses have helped me alot, maybe that can help you. And "Gironda" dips are a great chest exercise.

if you dont mind me asking:
at the DC training when you are doing the RPs, how much time do you take between (RP)sets? ive read that it is 15 breaths, but 1 breath can take me from 1 to 15 seconds so... :/

Hm.....thats wierd- u must take really deep breaths.

I find that since im using the heavy weights and pumpiing set after set quickly my breath rate gets up high. I start breathing harder and harder and harder after each set so im taking about 1 breath per second. I would either recommend doing heavier weights on warmup sets or do some cardio before u do workout- like only a few mins. to get ur heart rate up and breath rate.

Let me know if this works- if it doesnt let me know.

Today i will be doing cardio/speed bag/punching bag/crunches for about an hour doing a HIIT regime cycleing between these 4 for a full straight hour.

Just another solid day of working out.

I went Boogie boarding yesterday and im fried today and tired after the workout. First of all Northern Cali doesnt have warm water at all- so wearing a wet suit is a must. So after basically swimming hardcore for 4 hours straight on top of freezing cold water my muscles were shot.

I would recommend Boogie Boarding over Surfing personally because u get a way better workout doing Boogie Boarding since ur deeper in the water and always paddling and also its easier to learn.

Ive been having a hard weekend so my motivation for working out is at an all extreme but also depressing.

2 days ago a good friend of mine drowned in Willow Creek (a swift river). It has been hard on everyone in town.

Yesterday 2 good girl friends of mine were hit and run over by a car- one dead the other critically injured and might not make it.....

And just tonight another good girl friend of mine broke the news that she has been diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer. She has had it for a year now without knowing- the doctors believe her whole thyroid has been completely destroyed but has luckily not spread to other areas but they will see when she gets in removed in a couple of weeks.

So i just want to let people know that if i dont keep things up to date as usual its because of all of these events will be taking up my time. All prayers are welcome for these families, friends and me. Thanks

REVV

I did a class called REVV tonight. Its a high intensity stationary bike class that will turn ur legs and lungs into jello as well as ur whole body with sweat. I will be doing this class every tues. and thurs. night.

The advantage of this class is to get some sort of cardio into my regime.

The disadvantage is it makes my legs feel like jello and i feel that tomorrow doing my DC Leg Training portion i wont be able to lift as much do to this class but i will see how it goes in the long run.

DC Training DOUBLE Days

This week i am doing double days instead of spreading it out over a 6 day spread- i will be doing all 6 workouts in 3 days. Mon, wed, and fri. Giving my body havoc to spike new growth. I think i will be doing this randomly throughout my Dec trip to get my body moving quicker and not getting use to the same workout.

I never like saying this but today o took a day off.

I went surfing yesterday, and went to the river- i was completely exhausted especially since it was 106 outside.

I will be checking my weight today.
